Re: What does everyone think of the line up then?

Like the previous couple of posters I'm disappointed about Contracted, as I can't now find anything I'm bothered about in that slot and the one before it isn't that appealing now either - I suspect I'll go for Frankenstein's Army but I might just take a long break and have a decent meal, a pint and ...

Re: Discovery Film Recommendations

For Elisa, Painless, Wither and Rewind This are all definites for me - I was looking forward to Contracted but my opportunity to see it's been lost with the schedule changes, and I think I'll skip Snap in favour of the main screen as it's liable to turn up elsewhere and I doubt I'll be in the mood f...

Re: What does everyone think of the line up then?

I'm going to chance 100 Bloody Acres since it's the late one and I don't know if I'll be up for Snap at that hour. My main clash is Painless - I don't want to miss Haunter but Missionary looks worth a look too, although I can skip it and it may well turn up somewhere else. I saw American Scream at G...

Re: Frightfest - Need to know information

Can i take a bag into the cinema? - I've got to check in/out at a certain time and it doesn't fit in with start times (i'm staying in HHH but only Thursday, Saturday & Sunday nights due to awful planning) I usually have a bag of sorts with me (man-bag), which is no problem in the cinema, but on che...

Re: Where Is Everyone Sitting?

Another vote for row K. I tried D last year but it was slightly too close to easily read subtitles whilst watching what was happening on the rest of the screen, so this should do me.

Re: PDF Timetable

Not being a pub person mine are brew, food and Kindle breaks, but well done that man - stellar work :). Have pretty much planned out my weekend with no stress thanks to this and all I have to do now is decide on which way the couple of clashes go.

Re: sleepy queue

I said 'poor twats', which is a fairly common throwaway expression here in the North (could just have easily been 'poor sods', 'poor c*nts' or whatever) but obviously doesn't fly that often in Kent. Now, how about you calm down? And for the record, I've never noticed that many noticeably tall...

Re: sleepy queue

Been to the sleepy queue three times. Turned up at 6:00am the first time and since then around 8:00am. Really cannot fathom why anyone would want to stay there from Friday - it really just means that everyone else feels the need to start turning up earlier. Me neither - I couldn't get there until 1...

Re: ACCOMMODATION 2013!!

I got the Kings Cross Tune Hotel at £195 for five nights, which is twenty quid more than I paid last year. Fifteen minutes max on the night bus and then five minutes walk to get back - spotless, modern, private and fantastic beds/shower; would recommend to anybody who wants to spend their down time ...

Re: Halloween All Nighter

I've got windows open on both the Special Events page and also the one linked in the post above detailing the films, which is still showing last years' information. I've been refreshing both for over an hour now and there's nothing at all happening on either - even some sort of error page with a tem...

Re: Halloween All Nighter

Me too. Am panicking a bit now, because I'm on holiday and can't sit at the computer for that long. I've even tried ringing the 'ticket line' too from my UK mobile in Manhattan, which ought to please O2 if nobody else.

Re: Film times

I'm leaning towards skipping this too, although I never thought I'd say it. Like Wolfshade, I'm there to watch the films and if there isn't one (and I was really hoping for a classic) I'm not that bothered. The Victim looks OK to me and might be good for some cheesetastic light relief after Nightbre...

Re: So, where are you sitting?

I'm in C too, in the middle block. I was hoping for a little further back but I still think it's a good spot especially when the guests are on and like the man said, it's not so hard to move most of the time if it does start getting tough on the neck.

Re: What guests will be their this year ?

I'm guessing Ross Noble will show, especially since he's touring later in the year. Whether I'll see him or not is doubtful since there's liable to be Errors Of The Human Body on in Discovery at the same time.

Re: London 2012 Accommodation

I got five nights at the Kings Cross Tune Hotel for £175 a couple of months ago and it's currently standing at £210 for the same five. They're almost 'pod' hotels, and you pay extra for virtually everything you want bar room, bed and bog roll IF you want it - I've paid an extra tenner to have the TV...
