I'm loving all the speculation, but can I just knock all this on the head. It is what it says on the tin it is the UK restoration premiere of the 1978 Halloween.

Ian.
Cheers Ian. Any reasoning behind taking Blood Fest off?

Blood Fest does not have a uk release date yet.
Better let Showcase (not Cineworld, my bad) know about it then: https://www.showcasecinemas.co.uk/film- ... VCtrkJc.97
Oh well, not to worry. Its Halloween or Chuck Steel for me!

Re: 2018 Lineup Announced

The addition of the 4K Halloween screenings appears to have replaced the Blood Fest screenings so assume the latter has been withdrawn. Don’t know whether it was brought forward but apparently it’s showing in Cineworld cinemas from the 17th August so its inclusion in the festival became pointless. ...

Re: Frightfest Guest List Announced

So... remember last year when they had a HATCHET 1 showing planned, and it was revealed that it was a brand new HATCHET film? That was curious. Anyway, on a totally different note - there's a 4K restoration of the original HALLOWEEN playing this year. Holy shit dude... :o Unless ive gone blind - ca...

Re: Discovery Screen Recommendations

Tigers are not Afraid was the best film in Glasgow by a country mile. Its just so moving and so brilliantly made. Trust me tickets will go fast. Pleased to see Secret Santa on the schedule as well. Another Glasgow gem. Its bloddy hilarious- literally! Still deciding on what discovery films to see yet.

Hello Scarebear

Karaoke will be at the phoenix theatre bar. Charing Cross Rd. It's were most people go at the end of the day. Sunday from 11pm.
Thanks Zappa. Thought so. Probably staying at Travelodge Covent Garden, so that will be handy then!
