Re: A big thank you
Couldnt agree more. It was a fun 5 days. I posted this on twitter but ill say it again here. Frightfest is the ONLY festival anywhere were everyone gets on together like one big happy family. And not only that, its the ONLY festival i know of where the moviemakers are happy to mingle and have a chat...

Re: Best and worst film?
Best was 3rd Night (just ahead of Ruin me). Love Aussie Horror and i thought the performances were very strong, The film was a tight thriller with a killer twist. Must mention Ruin Me though, It didnt dissapoint. What a great story and again a real twist ending. Worst, It has to be Canaries. Maybe i...

Re: Top Five FF17 Films
For me it has to be:-
68 Kill
Double Date
Mayhem
Ruin Me
3rd Night.
All great films that deserve full Cinema releases.

Re: First timers
Hi all you first timers. I have had loads of 'welcomes' from the Frightfest family, but am still a little anxious about hanging out for 5 days, although I'm pretty chatty so shouldn't have a problem. Hope you're all gonna make the most of the socials in The Phoenix - see you all there? Welcome Wend...

Re: Issue with booking - please help
I had an issue with my Sunday pass where i selected the seat but got no email with the ticket on, even though the money was taken.
After contacting Ian by mail and phone he passed me onto Helen, who worked her magic and all is now happily resolved!!!
Now i can count down the hours!!!

Re: Director's Cut
It was ok. Funny for the first 30 mins or so, but then got a bit boring.
Good idea though and one for the guys who like a good "spoof"

Re: Monolith
I loved this! When i read the premise, i thought that why is this gonna be in Frightfest, but i can see why now. You dont always have to have blood and guts to make a suspense movie. The car was great, there was a top notch performance from Karina Bowden who had to put up with everything (the little...

Re: Red Christmas
Sorry, but of the 5 films i watched Monday, this was the worst.
So corny, so predictable. Ok some interesting Deaths but you just knew what was coming.
Best bit about it, the preview of "the limehouse golum" before the film!!

Re: Vue West 12 vs Vue West End
I Agree with everyone here. I thought that moving from the West End to the Bush would be a disaster, but how wrong i was. There was more of a "family" feel about the whole place as we had the whole Cinema. The Guys at Vue were very helpful. Loved the cheap beer from the wonderful kiosks. A...
