Re: FrightFest 2018
Frightfest number 19 for me and still as excited as ever. Usual sense of anticipation for the announcement of the films and guests and the far less enjoyable anticipation of the nerve-wracking minutes online trying to book a good seat for a festival pass. Long gone the days of turning up at the Odeo...

Re: Early suggestion for FF 2018
From what's been doing the rounds on the internet this week, it may not be the heresy it would have initially appeared to be mention Frightfest and the Suspiria remake in the same sentence. It certainly has pedigree in the director and cast and by all accounts is a full blown ( maybe Cronenbergian) ...

Re: A question about merchandise and Autographs/signing sessions
Frightfest never have paid autographs. Generally it's just a case of walk up to the star before and/or after the movie and ask for an autograph ( unless the organisers rush them away). Last time Kane attended he was hanging around as a guest at the food counter, etc.as well so it was easy to get him...

Hatchet 10th Anniversary 10th Celebration
I've just read that it's not a special version of Hatchet but a 4th movie called Victor Crowley that takes place 10 years after part 3. The article says it has it's world premiere this week and that it will be showing at festivals, including Frightfest. Hopefully not "fake news".

Full festival pass for sale
Hi,
I have G36 ( its I the middle section) full festival pass for sale as a friend has received a date for minor surgery so will be unable to attend. Not bothered about booking fee so just face value of £195.
Hope this is OK with Ian and co. to post this.

Re: Thoughts on the schedule so far?
As usual, a lot of movies I've not heard of or know little about which is part of the attraction of FFest for me. Of course, it means some festivals are better than others for me and can sometimes make it tricky to decide main screen v discovery or retro but thats fine with me. After all, it's my 18...

Re: Movies For August 2017 Fest
Strong feeling that Limehouse Golem and Leatherface will be on.
It's hard to predict what else as the LFF does appear to have had a negative impact upon the films available for screening at both the August and Halloween events.

Re: Discovery Screen Tickets
If there is negative feedback about sold out disco screenings this year, may I make a very early suggestion as to seeing if the O2 Cineworld could host the event in 2018. It's main superscreen is superb and holds slightly more than this year's main screen. In addition all other 10 screens are of a g...

Re: Quality of films this year
For the last 2 or 3 years, the London Film Festival has run a cult movies programme of about 10 movies, most of which are horror. Looking at this year's line-up I wonder if it is having an adverse effect availability for both main and Halloween Frightfests eg this year has Creepy, Phantasm 4K remast...
