but not a patch on the great and hilarious teen comedy HAROLD AND KUMAR. Trust that you are looking forward to HAROLD AND KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANOMO BAY. Myself, just watched: HORROR RISES FROM THE GRAVE - a Paul Naschy classic (well that's what the extras tell me;). Pretty enjoyable Hammer-esque...

Just ordered my last* three Argentos (Four Flies, Card Player and Do You Like Hitchcock - Flies was wonderful the last time I caught it, and Hitchcock was pretty good as well; Card Player's not that good but the R1 DVD has a Simonetti interview). * (Well, I say "last", but there are the M...

That's a shame about IKWKM as Siverton's first film The Lost is so fantastic.

Backwoods Gary Oldman and Paddy Considine piss off Spanish yokels ala Strawdogs . Would have probably enjoyed it more if it had English subtitles as there's a lot of Spanish and it was a Finnish version. Scarecrows Enjoyable 80's horror concerning US commandos who rob their own payroll and then get...

Oooh. Will have to get that TCM2 (I have the UK version, still unplayed after a year but the extras on this Gruesome sound very interesting). Just ordered Deep Red (Blue Underground). I'm on an Argento near-completism kick (it's completism, except for Stendhal). Stendahl has just been released in t...

As well as ordering the Sigur Ros film Heima last week, I also bought the new Korpiklaani album, which come with a free live DVD. 40 minutes of Finnish humppa* folk metal action.

Similar to German oompah, or however they spell it.

Which one did you go for? Tempted with the Shameless version. Never seen this one. I actually bought a Finnish version when I was out there recently. It seems to be a split release between Firebox Films (a Finnish Co., which I think is related to the heavy metal record label) and Another World Ente...

Torso Sergio Martino normally guarantees a decent giallo and this film is no acception. Well paced and interstingish twist towards the end. Tina Aumont gets added to my list of B-movie crumpet.

What Have They Done To Your Daughters? is a great follow-up (with a better mystery, if I recall) and a beyond wicked theme tune by Stelvio Cipriani that will knock your Euro-funk lovin' pantaloons off. Is it available at all? Not been able to find it, at least under that title. Incidentallythe curr...

What Have You Done To Solange? or just Solange as it says on the box. A previous poster said they found it boring and I have to admit that I ended up fast forwarding through part of it. OK giallo.
