It's well worth giving it a watch, especially worth seeing it in the cinema as it really focuses your attention on the film.

Glad you liked it, you're right I found this much harder to watch then Hostel. Easily one of the best things I've seen this year.

You shold enjoy Hard Candy, I thought it was great, quite a hard watch in places. Let us know what you think. I've just come back from a double bill of Hard Candy and Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift. Hard Candy was just brilliant, been hearing about it for ages so I was really looking forward to i...

Just got back from seeing Election for the second time, thought it was even better this time around, it made a lot more sense and was much easier to follow. Makes me really want to see Election 2 now.

For me it's the other way around, thought SPL was good but not great, apart from that amazing fight in the alleyway. Where as I loved Election, but I'm a huge Johnnie To fan, that's why I'm going to to see it again tonight. I know what you mean about seeing films on planes, I never know if that real...

I really liked Thank You For Smoking, it's a bit all over the place but an interesting watch.

I always think of JK Simmons as Vern Schillinger from Oz.

Going to go an watch Election tonight, already seen it but really want to see a Johnny To film at a UGC cinema after watching them on DVD for years.

Thanks, really glad I went in the end. Just been to see something totally different, just got back from watching The Notorious Betty Page, which was great. It's a biopic of the 50s pinup model Betty Page, I didn't realise it was going to be in black & white, that really adds to the flavour of the fi...

I watched United 93 last week, was really unsure if I should go, I was really worried that it would be too hard to watch and too gut wrenching. But now I'm really glad I went, I though it was really fantastic, there's a lot more to it than just the plane, there's a lot of stuff from round the countr...

I know what you mean about Poseidon being grizzly, it was much more graphic than I was expecting it to be.

the wave hitting the ship is the best part, must have looked great on IMAX. wasn't too keen on the rest of the film though.

Has anyone seen the new Wicker Man Remake Trailer?

It doesn't really impress me, looks ok, but also looks fairly bland. I'm most intrigued by what's going to happen at the end, are they going to wimp out?

Watched Poseidon last night, it's not totally terrible, it's actually quite gripping in places, but they seem to have forgotten to put in any character devolpment at all. Everyone is very 2 dimensional plus the films running time is too brief clocking in at just over 90 minutes. It never feels or lo...

Mission Impossible 3 - now that's how you do the third part of a series. It was just so much fun, really loved it.

Maybe it's just me then, but I really hated it, didn't go in wanting to dislike, it, really gave it my best shot, but the more I think about it the worse it gets in my mind.

For me it just seemed to be missing everything that I liked about the first 2.

Has anyone else seen X Men: The Last Stand yet? If not, a word of warning - it's diabolical! It's so terrible, I really really really hated it. It takes everything that Singer did in the first 2 films and just flushes it down the toilet, it really is a stinker of a film. All the character interactio...
