It only ever seems to be me that likes Linklater.
That's interesting that they dropped the epilogue from the theatrical cut of Wicker Man, it's one of the funniest films I've seen this year, Cage running round dressed as a bear.

Yeah that's part of the ritual of seeing a Bond film, staying till the end to see the James Bond Will Return bit, pitty they don't put the title at the end any more, but I guess they're never quite sure what the next one will be. Would have jumped out of my seat if is had said OHMSS. Loved the film ...

Scanner Darkly makes a lot more sense the second time around, if you enjoyed it then it's well worth going back to watch it again, all the pieces fall into place the second time. I'd say it's worth checking out the remake of Pulse, it's not perfect but it's still interesting, maintains the apocalypt...

I had the misfortune to watch The Wicker Man this weekend as well, it's so terrible, dire infact. The more I think about it, the worse it gets, it plays more like a comedy. I actually had high hopes for this, Neil Labute is a real interesting director so I thought he'd bring something interesting to...

Over the last 2 days I've had the good fortune to see both Superman Returns and Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Superman is by the far the better of the two, it's really amazing. Singer has pulled off something fantastic here in that he's made it very much a Bryan Singer film, but it als...

Well that mystery film thing I went to turned out to be quite cool, but very very brief. It was the World Premiere Of The Spiderman 3 Teaser Trailer , with a live (via satelite from New York) introduction from Sam Raimi and Thomas Haden Church. They said hi to everyone, made a few jokes, then introd...
