This was a really terrific film with great dialogue and a real social context. I suspect the loan shark is the standout villain of the festival

People who book these should go to them. A lot of showings were full for pass holders without people actually taking up the tickets and going to watch the film. They were probably just hedging their bets. Next year i suggest that that your main screen seat becomes available you book a discovery seat...

a bit nonsense when the ghosts turned up. Ghosts menacing serial killers... Who am I meant to root for here?

This was pretty original although Ilya got too much time doing his annoying thing and obviously the rape was gratuitously long. Good ending

The Spanish Last Days did much better with the "bloke trying to reach his pregnant GF during the apocalypse" plot. there is no excurse for such an ordinary zombie film. The location just gave an excuse for TV commercial visuals. Very dull indeed.
