Ian says tickets are not sold out. They're checking now.

Re: Ticket Sales

Ian suggests there may be some where people have 'blocked' the seats but not purchased them, no idea if this is correct but maybe.

Re: Ticket Sales

Much much better than previous years, well done team. Yes, I got gazumped a few times but eventually got a ticket, isn't it weird seeing how fast they sell out though? I mean, wow that's quick.

Re: Night Fare

One of my favourites this year. Fast pace, cracking cinematography and a neat plot that kept twisting all the way to the end. Just about the most watchable film I've seen recently.

Re: Nina Forever

Couldn't agree more. This is actually the kind of film that makes Frightfest so important to me. It's unlikely I'd have chosen to see this film for myself, based on the poster, but it turned out to be something very special.

Re: Cherry Tree

I couldn't get over the terrible sound, ridiculous editing and painfully slow characters. The weakest of the festival for me.

Agree with Jonbly, distinctive enough to make it an above average creature feature.

Re: Slumlord

Really liked this one. Sometimes it's nice to have a creepy pervert who looks like a creepy pervert, more Ed Gein than Ted Bundy, if you know what I mean. Relatively slow to build up but the final act delivered on all the expectation.

Re: Deathgasm

It's essentially the same film as Tenacious D, but with much better gore. Likeable fluff.

One of my candidates for best film of the weekend, a strange Mexican Oldboy.

Re: Curve

I quite enjoyed this one, tremendous leading lady and a good rhythm to the tale with a satisfying payoff at the end. It must have been an interesting script when first sent to the director, very little dialogue, lots of physicality.

It was among the better 'found footage' films. Imagine how good it could have been without the shaky camera.

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

Thanks Paul, it's appreciated. I know I speak for many here when I say how much we value Frightfest and you guys who put on the event every year. I imagine when the festival is your baby it can be hard not to take any criticism personally, I assure you I have never felt less than grateful for your e...
