Well both screenings still have seats available so presumably the vue could switch them.
I am very pleased to have these screens, and as Malky says there have been some great moments in the Discovery screens.
Just the advance booking has me in a change of circumstances.

Frankenstein screening swap
(maybe if I re-title this it'll attract attention. And be more accurate.) Wider question: I know there's no refunds, but is it possible to change tickets I have bought for a different screening? eg I have two for Saturday afternoon (15:15) seats for Frankenstein, and would prefer to attend the 1045 ...

Re: Discovery screen tickets
From my purchases just now, it looks like about 1/3 on general sale the rest unavailable /reserved for pass holders
I must say that was a pretty smooth experience in buying seats for two screenings in different screens on different days.
Nice work, internet ticketing agency )

Re: Ticket mixup - Tip Of The Iceberg
Yeah the numbering of the three screens has left me with a bugbear the size of an actual bear. No way of knowing which screen when I ordered, I guessed the middle one (#6) would be the middle one on the listings pages (Film 4). I got no response to my email asking which screen I had booked, and got ...

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014
I gave up trying to get day passes earlier, due to the kind of problems mentioned here, but just tried again and got my required two seats for two days. But here's a thing, I had no way of telling which screen I have booked for as all three just appeared to say "Premiere Screen". (I may ha...

Re: Bottom Five Films
The worst films thread is always more popular than the best films ;-)
The ones that have split the audience (so far)
The Last Days, Haunter, Odd Thomas,
Banshee Chapter and Dark Tourist
The latter two having more haters than fans.
Still what would Frightfest be with out the depth of variety !

I'd watch him again.
Good call on the JGL lookalike.
I was thinking he was like a New Man Yuppified version of Dust Devil.

Re: Holliston
I have watched a few episodes online and enjoyed it but for that laugh track.
Someone should offer a canned-laugh-free DVD for the UK market.

Re: BEST FILM poll
Yes, but a separate poll for discovery films would be more representative.
Having said that I only saw one.

Re: Cheap Thrills
Excellent stuff.
Kept guessing at the start, engaging performances by all four leads (very different characters).
Surprised to like the villains so much, given that "class war" subtext mentioned at the pre-Q&A.
I'd have drawn the line at the pooping.
Not sure which side of it.

Re: Random Weekend Thoughts...
It's a real shame that they are dividing up that cinema, but I guess it does not get filled, bar a few premiers and festivals. With all those millions of pounds certain people earn in the film industry, perhaps someone could fund an imax screen that rises up from the floor to split the auditorium, s...

Re: Dark Touch
Seemed to punish everyone for one thing or another that could have been avoided with a bit of talking. (1) school bullies, probably deserved it at the party, but their ending was "Oh look, we have a CGI budget". (2) the adults who fostered her meant well and probably would have avoided the...

Remarkably good reworking of the original. "Now that was a horror film" said the missus as it ended.
