Crank has had a bigger opening weekend in the US than Snakes on a Plane had few weeks ago. That's bombed big time. Fallen out of the US top ten after just 2 weeks. I'm really surprised. I honestly thought the cult following that had grown around it before the release guaranteed a big hit. It's a sha...

I've never forgotten a cringe making appearance by Neil LaBute on the panel of Newsnight Review a few years ago. He talked about a film's attempt to be sensual and then he uttered one of the most jaw droppingly ostentatious and stomach turning statments, saying in reference to his previous comment a...

Snakes on a Plane does not disappoint! It's such a ride. Apart from ropey acting by some of the bit-part actors and one lousy special effect (the snake devouring the annoying English passenger), it's great fun. As expected, the line "I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherf...

Saw Fearless last night. Good film, though nothing remarkable. Ronny Yu composed a lot of nice shots and camera moves.

Typical morons in the audience who talked during the film, and even on a mobile at one point!! Audiences these days are fucking idiots!

Fearless would be your best bet. Not seen it yet but as you say, the buzz on it is quite positive, even if it is by hack director Ronny Yu.

Avoid Fast & The Furious Tokyo Drift. It's cinematic puke! Nothing major released until Pirates 2 next week!

Just one look at the Ultraviolet poster was enough to make me want to avoid it. Oh, and the fact that the talentless, gormless Milla Jovovich is in it.
