I have seen the following so far at the London Film Festival: Funny Games - a shot for shot remake - the only question is why did Haneke remake his own masterpiece! The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford - more style than substance - the film is overly long at two and a half hour...

Wait until you see Mr Brooks which they showed at the Frightfest Xtra day - it is excellent, and KC is on top form!

New York Ripper is apparently being released on Region 2 on 1 October 2007.

Recently ordered the following:

Ordered them from DVD Empire for around USD10-12 each

How about doing this again next year but with Seed and a live Uwe Boll commentary!

This was the worst of the weekend - dull, slow and unoriginal

As different from Hatchet as you can get and a real surprise - started very slowly but the characters draw you in towards an excellent conclusion

This was too long and very messy with a weak storyline - a disappointing follow up to the much better Nightwatch

Truly excellent - the perfect film to close this years Frightfest!

One of the best of the festival - will stick in the memory for a long time!

A nice movie with good characters and script and an excellent ending

Postal was excellent fun. Seed was one of the best of the festival. A good story and some nice death scenes. The hammer scene was nice to watch - dodgy CGI or not it didn't matter, as it had the desired impact. Agree with Jonbly's comments however in that apart from this scene, the film overall was ...

Good fun but nothing more - I think it will struggle to find an audience although I hope it does well

Not as good as the original but very good fun - Joe Lynch was great (especially when he slagged off The Hill have Eyes 2) - not sure there is mileage for another sequel however
