A franchise based on the one true story (which is contained within the first film) then - mmm that makes sense...

Still, cant resist the urge based on the director's name just to ask:

"What would Brian Bertino do, if he were here right now?

:D

Excellently shot and acted with a good tone (reminded me of Urban Ghost Story at times in terms of feel) but the Amy "twist" I thought was screamingly obvious from pretty much as soon as she was introduced, and the slasher-type climax took me out of the film a bit. Completed a weekend of s...

Big dumb fun, and great to see a car film that actually does car stunts with real cars at speed... Easy way to separate it: If you're with an audience like FF - just sit back and enjoy. If you're not - turn off/fast forward between the action scenes and enjoy. Don't think anyone can deny the action ...

Well done, with an interesting angle that isn't often taken. Did have the slowest car crash resulting in head injury we'd seen all fest, but also had some good buildup and showed how you can use a microbudget effectively...

Yep, the first half was a promisingly effective gory horror then it seemed to click hang on, Keifer isn't allowed to play any character other than Jack Bauer anymore. He must spout dialogue so cheesily bad Nic Cage would refuse it, get randomly shouty to try and increase scene tension, and threaten ...

We want zombie Davina! We want zombie Davina! Oh, and someone to take out the new BBLB people - boy did they lose out when Dermot left  (God, I'm getting such a cruel streak, maybe I should start watching Big Brother or something) Could be really brilliant so long as it doesnt carry on for 17 ...

Thoroughly enjoyed this year's suggestion and appreciated the (good) comedy stuff - a good sense of humour goes a long way with shorts, with one of my favourite ever FF shorts still being P*ssboy...

Best pair were probably The Amazing Trousers and Total Fury...

Was good fun, Garry Tunnicliffe outdoing himself on the effects front again, but the Argento comments just based on some use of colour? There have been far more Argento-esque films made in the past few years, its kinda unfair to compare when all you have is that just because the director was a write...

Beautifully shot and more fantastic young acting, but have a feeling this will work better for me when watched at home without the Fest starting to bear down on me during a second-film-of-the-day if you know what I mean :) That said, wasn't shocked at all by Eli's twist because of some of the earlie...

I didnt think it was that bad at all - have a predisposition towards headf&*^ films and have several friends who are terrified of mirrors, so great material at least! Admittedly that was the most times I've seen a car crash repeated that didn't involve Jeremy Clarkson hitting his head (maybe he ...

Well, I have to say that I'm not a fan of the usual Hostel subgenre, but with Martyrs I was gripped from start to finish. I wasn't that surprised that ultimately it wasn't as stomach churning as expected (feared?) but the gripping story and theme left a far more pertinent psychological impression (m...

I think it may well have been you who came up with it on the way out there scrobble - I am legendarily bad at remembering names and forum monikers! (Me - super fat b*stard with goatee and seemingly infinite supply of one-liner tshirts :) ) And was just too good a suggestion to not include here!
