One FOR the fans BY the fans.

A pleasant surprise, been done a milliomn times before but rarely with such panache and enthusiasm.

Some of the best and most stylish zombie kills I've ever seen, and some great laughs.

Coach was awesome.

One I'll be adding to the collection. Thanks IGN.

Caught up in this one from start to end.

Very few faults, just a superb and thoroughly rewarding experience.

Casting, script, pacing, characters, emotion, photography and FX all aligned to create a true experience.

One of my highlights of the festival, thanks guys! :D

Seems the consensus was the same.

Fun, slightly annoying, nicely brutal, impressively grown from the short story, let down of an ending.

Looked great.

Go Vinnie.

Slightly overlong but a fantastic initial set-up and emotionally engaging. The references and blatant comments on de-sensitisation and pop culture were a tad too obvious and clumsy, but teh acting, development and tension were brilliantly handled. A great substitute, although tiotally understand its...

I'm in the minority here....I loved it. The tension, setting and teasing were nicely balanced. It had a few Americanisms like sign-posting a jump with the framing etc but apart from that I was enthralled and did really jump a few times. Your sympathies for the leads came and went, but for a Hollywoo...

Fun fun fun. We all knew what the story was and where it was going...but it made no difference, a great ride. The creatures looked kinda ropey to begin with, but under the harsh and bright interior lights they looked fantastic. From the moment 'elvis' stood on the landmine this had won my heart over...

Great fun! And heart warming to see the man back and healthy.

Refreshingly different from everything else on show and something you'll not forget in a hurry!

Was all set to walk away from this one depressed. The intro had that sort of grim Mike Leigh kinda thing going on and Dad seemed like an english redneck at first. All very predictable. THEN we saw the family intractions and the split presonalities kick in. From then on in I was hooked. Superb charac...

HUGELY down on this one. Had no preconceptions other than the fact that Shrooms was ALMOST a great little flik..... One dimensional characters, embaressing dialogue and a lack of any sort of engagement beyond a few jumps let down what had a great core idea. Had the whiff of limited pre-production ti...

Ugh. What a waste. 3D was hardly used and was oddly ineffective in dark scenes. Angela was great as usual but was totally wasted on this. You're making a 3D slasher movie...what would you do? Arterial spray? Blades coming out of the screen? Blood on the lens, dripping down? SOMETHING that makes the ...

Would've made a great short. Hated the trailer last year...so actually enjoyed this more than I should have. Good effort, but the joke did kinda run out of steam. The makers obviously enjoyed making it and enjoyed the weekend though, which really shone through. And if you really hated it...get off y...

Enjoyed the tension, the setting and the characters. She was intriguing if annoying, he was a tad flat though. The hoodies were great. Understand peoples reactions in the negative...but...all in all, as a horror movie rather than a social commentary, this was a great starter!!! And sod the Daily Mai...

2 things missed out from that fantastic list: - If you suffer from violent attacks of gas forewarn those around you and carry an air freshner in your pants. - After each movie be aware of smokers sitting near you. They tend to develop a twitching crazed look after 2 hours. Get out of their way as fa...
