This was a another really good entry in this years event , i am loving the new Aussie wave of Horror. What i fail to understand is how people can say it's not a Horror movie!? It is a horror movie without doubt to me, i mean how could you say dead snow , human centipede, trick r treat , etc are horr...

I like weird films and they don't come much stranger than this i guess. The lead reminded me a lot of Christopher Walken by his mannerisms, i could imagine him playing the part as well. Would love to see the sequel with a fifteen part centipede, not sure if the director was joking or serious but i'd...

Started to 'drift' of to sleep during this a couple of times as it was so predicatble. Nazi zombies in the snow make look cool but the plot and acting was completley uninspiring.

As we had not yet properly checked into our hotel we had to miss this , shame as i was suprisingly still awake enought to see it.
Would not have been a good idea to check in a day late.

I watched the trailer before the event and decided this was not really for me so went for Salvage in the discovery screen instead.
Glad i did too, may catch at a later date on rental.

Started of mediocre then improved when it went Hostel stylee. Loved the ending, not sure about any particualr political messages but i saw it as him cheating death . Which is why he survived with the loss of his legs whilst the other two died. It was not in your face obvious but the evil guy had a c...

Some needed light relief after The Horseman, and what a great choice. Always nice to have at least one retro film thrown into the procedings and it looked and sounded great in this new remastered version. John Landis was brilliant too especially as he stayed for the event and checked out lots of oth...

Missed this one due to needing to get back home that night and getting up very early next morning to get back up for the festival.
Only had three night in hotel booked.
Was not really bothered anyway as the trailer sort of gave away the whole film by the looks of it, and it looked rather predicatable.

An enjoyable film and i liked the way it turned a lot of the cliches of typical slasher movies on their head.
Not amazing but one i would watch again.

Thought this was a great opening film and much preffered it to Severance. It looked fantastic on the huge Empire main screen and the opening scenes on the ocean was a real wow moment. Agreed that analysing the film can be a bet of a conundrum but i think that was the idea. It is done in such a way s...

If you disliked Ali G and Borat so much i would have thought it would have made sense to avoid Bruno like the plague.
Personally i think Sascha Baron Cohen is a genius, but then it would be a boring place if we all loved the same things.
