I've been looking for a copy of 'Children shouldn't play with dead things' as I've heard positive reviews about it. I will have to add it to my Love film list. I agree, the poster for Dead and Buried is excellent. The sort of thing I used to collect as a teenager and then be forced to take down by t...

Just pre-ordered Ghost School Horror Box Set from Play for 16.99. Whispering Corridors, Memento Mori, Wishing Stairs and The Voice- just the thing for a quiet Sunday after March 7th.

You have to forgive me for being so sceptical but I always wonder about these claims.

I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. I also felt a little sleepy but just about managed to stay awake for this one.

Just watched 'Dead and Buried' after it plopped through my letterbox care of those nice people from Love Film. Had no idea what to expect and for cheapy 80's horror it was not at all bad. Original in it's own little way but I find it hard to believe it was once banned. I agree about Halloween Night-...

As well as being scary in parts, the film was also incredibly creepy, in a Polanski type way. It also reminded me a lot of some of those creepy mo...

Liked this one a lot. Definately a Wicker Man feel to it and some amazing performances from the central actors.

I think the 'Auschwitz' line was an absolute corker. Almost as funny as 'Mirrors' but, sadly, not quite. Will make a late New Year's resolution to avoid big budget horror from now on.

Manhunt is out on UK DVD on 30th March. The date for the region 1 DVD of Martyrs keeps being put back. It is now the end of April but I am not holding my breath on that one.

Just bought and watched Jar City. Not a bad little thriller especially if you are into Wallander and that type of thing. Also bought Gone Baby Gone from HMV for £6. Bargain. Saving that one for after Glasgow.

John Ajvide Lindqvist (the author of Let the Right One In) has a new book coming out in March. It is called'Handling the Dead' and seems to be about zombies. I've already pre-ordered my copy from Amazon as if it is half as good as LTROI it will be better than a lot of horror novels out there. Speaki...
