Re: Best and worst film?

Ironically The End? didn't know when to end Best - Lowlife. Just brilliant, entertaining, funny, unpredictable, and quite emotional. Superbly acted. I could go on. Agreed And the film makers were lovely. Worst - The End? This probably isn't a fair choice, but I skipped out on Adult Babies and Psycho...

Re: Personal safety

Some other ideas I saw suggested after the Manchester attack: - bring a portable phone charger - have a note of some emergency contact details in your bag / wallet (how many phone numbers do you actually know if your p...

Re: Discovery screen 'nepotism'.

Going in blind is a great test of anyone's film, let alone 1st time film makers... The less I know the more the filmmaker gets to wow me when it's good. Obviously the opposite is true, but all films can't be good or it'd be samey forever

Re: Tube Strike Planned

Anyone arriving into Kings X, St Pancras or Euston can get to Leicester sq in about 30 mins walk ... you're likely to wait longer to get on a bus

Good luck getting to and from the fest..,

I'll be servicing my bicycle

Preview podcasts with filmmakers - NO SPOILERS I promise

I've done a whole load of frightfest preview podcasts ... films covered so far are listed below. I've not seen the films so it was easy to avoid spoilers outside what the filmmakers wanted to reveal. I ask all of them what they're most looking forward to in terms of the frightfest audience experienc...
