Re: Suspension

You forgot to mention the ridiculously wooden/overacting, and appalling, unconvincing dialogue.
Both are things that I overlooked in the trailer, and convinced myself that there was still a good movie there.
There wasn't even much slashing.

Re: Films for Frightfest August 2015

This looks creepy and is apparently doing the festival circuits: Goodnight Mommy https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7u3GCfr0U94 I just stumbled across this one on IMDB so had a quick double check through the film list and the messageboards. It looks excellent, shame it hasn't been picked up for FF. Nic

Purchasing one ticket from a remaining pair of seats

Does anybody wish to purchase the weekend ticket for seat C29 so that I may purchase seat C30, Screen 7 (Horror Channel).
The ticketing system will not allow me to split up the remaining pair, and I'd like to keep out of the front row.

Re: FrightFest 2015 Meetup zone for lone travellers!

Lots of us go on our own; shame the ticketing system doesn't recognise that. I don't particularly wish to sit in the front row, but if I select the third row it tells me that it splits a pair, and therefore I must select a different seat. That will teach me for being out of internet and credit card ...

Re: Thoughts on FrightFest @ Vue so far..

I think the smell is only hoppy lager. Anyhoo, did others find the fire exits and circular ceiling lights, distractingly bright? Cinemas used to be dark. Surely lights can come on post movie or if there is an emergency. Also, when we accidently left via a fire escape there was a member of staff asle...

First full FrightFest weekend, sadly missed out on Shock Wave Dark Side, but did manage to watch Altergeist, which was awful, but probably not in the same league as those above.

Re: Thoughts on FrightFest @ Vue so far..

We were informed to join one at the Ben and Jerry's area and seemed to be there for ages whilst a young member of vue staff (that honestly admitted he had no idea about this "frightfest stuff") appeared to be using vue's main website to book up this persons endless list of films. I don't ...

It was great to finally have people join in with the Arrow advert on the last film, screen 5.
I'd been waiting for some audience participation all weekend.

I'll take your C31 and swap for my A7, confusing enough?
