Re: Frightfest 2013 Ticket Information
Rang Empire again and I was told that they think that the individual tickets will be on sale about a month after the passes which is what I read originally and has been the case at previous years. They aren't quite sure why it says they are available today on the FFest website so Im not losing my ma...

Re: Appluading Death Scenes
I have fond memories of Gallio because it was the one film that people laughed at because it was so terrible and that can be quite an enjoyable experience when you go and see a movie and get something you didn't expect. If a film makes you feel a certain way, then it just does and if it has that eff...

Re: Frightfest 2013 Ticket Information
I bought a day pass for the opening night, but was also hoping that individual tickets would be on sale by now, as it said they would be on the Frighfest site. Will be in town later this afternoon and if they haven't gone up online by then, I'll pop by the Empire to find out. As to food, the fast f...

Re: VHS 2 - do I or don't I?
Didn't think the first one was that great, so nope, not bothering with this one. I watched a mountain of movies during previous years to get full use of my festival pass and it was a good experience, BUT to be honest only a handful were memorable. Seeing about 13 films this year that look interesting.

Re: Frightfest 2013 Ticket Information
With regards to the toilets, I think the staff do a pretty good job keeping them clean with the amount of people traffic they have to deal with during the festival. As someone else said, go over to Burger King and see the true definition of grim toilets

Re: Frightfest 2013 Ticket Information
Just been told by the cinema that they have no idea when the individual tickets are coming on sale. Maybe Im getting confused but I thought that they were on sale on the 27th of July, I think I saw that in a previous FFest announcement, but on the website now they are supposed to be available from 1...

Re: Frightfest 2013 Ticket Information
Ahhhhh can't book individual tickets over the phone as Empire haven't put them on their booking system yet :o ... Im getting stressed. I want to sit at the very back as I get a neck ache looking up in the seats allocated for festival passes so I don't get them anymore. Even when I bought festival pa...

Re: Films for Frightfest August 2013
Would love to see a sequel to Insidious - Creepy and well paced, which is just up my street. Human Centipede was good fun, but the second one was a bit ropey, so a third Im not too bothered about, but the Director seems like a really nice guy and I hope that peeps who go see it do enjoy it and give ...

Re: So, where are you sitting?
The very last row at the back is the perfect view for me. See the entire screen properly, not too loud and not many people sit up there so I can sprawl sometimes.

Re: 2012 Frightfest line up
Thanks so much for doing that. Didn't see the usual layout with mini explanation, trailer etc. Life felt too short to read the list the way it was presented. No patience for that Im afraid
Cheers

Re: How did you find the line-up overall..?
To be honest the line-up for FFest 2010 I didn't think was as good as the three years I have attended before. I did see some good films, but not many I thought caught my imagination, hence why this year we are abandoning festival passes and only buying tickets for movies we instinctively feel and ho...

Re: Human Centipede Full Sequence
Even though the film quality was terrible last year, I loved the Human Centipede and can't wait for the new one to come out. It was well acted and I was thoroughly into the movie when I watched it. The director seemed like a genuinely nice guy who is a bit crazy. Cool.
Re: 13 Hrs
I had to check the brochure to remind myself what this was all about. Bad sign. I love werewolf movies. I love everything about them and even watched Rise of the Lycans more than once just to see them, even though its a bit of a dodgy film. This was okay, but I thought the creatures were total pants...
