Re: A Serbian Film - PULLED from line-up
I'm not sure who the boys deal with at Westminster, but will try and get details in the next couple of days (once they've caught up on their sleep) as it would be good for us (Revolver) to know too.. We will be looking this week at the logistics of trying to arrange some screenings of the film in an...

Re: I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE
Can't see how Giallo can be considered in Argento's Auteur oeuvre when he didn't write the script for the film... But anyway, back to topic please; ISOYG redux was very solid in my opinion. Well-made, not overly Hollywood glossy, and some particularly gruesome revenge deaths. I have a thing about ey...

Re: A Serbian Film - PULLED from line-up
It is unfortunate that Westminster City Council made the decision to only allow the screening of this film with the BBFC's approval. We can understand their rationale, but their late request in this instance meant we had little time to submit the film to the BBFC and to then also wait for the BBFC's...

Good choices Nekro.
I hear We Are what We Are is getting good reviews - arty, but if Amer's on your list, you might want to check that out.
Hearing good things on F, The Loved Ones and Red, White and Blue too..

Ah - still a great film either way.
Going to have to buy this one now it's finally out - we had to hunt a bit for our viewing of it at Zombie Club here..http://www.eatmybrains.com/showzc.php?id=122

Re: LoveFilm (60 day trial)
Personally I think Blood River is without a doubt Adam Mason's finest work..
Great music, cinematography and acting and a storyline that has a great kick to it..
Really interested in other people's thoughts on this film if they get to see it...

Re: what dvds are we buying?
Was soo tempted to pick up Watchmen at the weekend, but I'm still waiting to see if they do an integrated cut with options to view the animation within the feature (which I heard they were planning at one stage..) So, instead I got Mesrine Parts 1 and 2 on Blu-ray instead - which I haven't seen yet ...

Re: What are you most looking forward to?
Just out of interest (and because I had a spare 5 mins and am a but sad), I've just added up the mentions to see what's leading in 'most looking forward to' stakes. Interestingly there have been 27 films mentioned in total - a true testament to a wide-range of the selection covering everyone's taste...

Re: what dvds are we buying?
Very happy to have picked up Hellboy 2 2-Disc edition (which I still haven't seen!) for three shiny pound coins in the HMV sale... Was very tempted to also buy the 22-film James Bond boxset (reduced from £200 to £50) but wasn't sure if the films came with all the extras or not. Does anyone know if t...
