Re: Films for FrightFest The 13th 2012
Dredd is set for release in Sept, and has screened at Cannes, could that be in the frame? FrightFest might be a good launching pad for the film if Empire's Big Weekend thing doesn't grab it.

Re: Films for FrightFest The 13th 2012
This one is a loooooonnnngggg shot, but Rian Johnson's Looper is out late Sept. Now I know this is SF not horror, but we nearly had Drive last year. There has been talk on twitter from the boys about having nearly secured a celeb-tastic closing film for FF the 13th. Joseph Gordon-Levitt at FrightFes...

Nightbreed I would also love to see, and Barker would be a wonderful guest, although he has been very unwell recently.
Cosmopolis is out next month so that's out. Also Beyond the Black Rainbow has screened at other fests, might be possible for the disco screen.

We can count out Killer Joe and Gob Bless America, both out before August.
I really want to see John Dies at the End and Coscarelli would be a great guest.
Also VHS, Aggression Scale, Lovely Molly. Would like to see Brandon Cronenberg's Antiviral if it's worthy.

Re: a bit of help please.
The form states that if accepted, you would need to supply a a 35 mm print, DCP, HD CAM SR, HD CAM tape or a Blu-ray disc.
So you don't have to supply the short on film.

I'm looking for something as addictive as Borderlands , an epic atmospheric sandbox FPS (on xbox 360) with lots of big guns and no shortage of baddies to use them on. Any recommendations? Bulletstorm. Bulletstorm is great, but it's more of a straight up shooter than Borderlands. Terrific gory fun t...

Re: The Devil's Business
It's not bad, but for a full feature there isn't enough happening and it is all talk for about the first half. http://streetrw.blogspot.com/2011/09/devils-business.html I disagree with Richard on this one, I thought the slow build up of dread was well handled, leading to a genuinely freaky ending t...

Re: Urban Explorers
if you think this one was bad (which it was, of course) then you should watch Ukrainian "Shtolnya", for a movie set in underground bunker with annoying characters and hole-ridden plot. and srsly, german torture porn... Don't need to go that far abroad, just watch Basement with Danny Dyer....
