I thought the Last House On The Left remake was surprisingly decent, good to see it's not been toned down for a teen audience like so many other remakes...

I really must get my TV Eye blog written this weekend, long overdue... lots of new stuff, have already given up on Lie To Me and Knight Rider , but very much enjoying Dollhouse so far... Did anyone see that Krod Mondoon rubbish on BBC this week with Sean Maguire and Matt Lucas? Awful, awful, awful.....

The PCC has the Terracotta Far East Film Festival on there all that weekend so there's no way that could have taken the film this time. As for one of the bigger West End cinemas taking the film, I'm not sure... obviously us FrightFesters are *huge* Raimi fans but would a preview of this nature reall...

Gutted. The FF boys have done it again, this sounds like another great event! Alas, I can't make it as I have a prior engagement seeing *cough* Girls Aloud *cough* with fellow FrightFester STun. Oh the shame of it... I'm sure that you will all have a fab time - good luck getting tickets tomor...

You're right, now that they've ditched a couple of main characters who were getting a bit tired and useless this season of Primeval is now finding its feet and has a renewed energy about it, typified by the boundless enthusiasm of Jason Flemyng... with so many established shows struggling to hold th...

Crank: High Voltage - the most fun I've had in the cinema all year.

I picked up All The Boys Love Mandy Lane and I Know Who Killed Me for £2.99 each from HMV (online) and Behind The Mask for £2.99 and State Of Play (the original BBC series which the forthcoming Crowe/Affleck film is based on) for £4.99 from Play.

Sadly Night Of The Creeps is unavailable on DVD... I watched Cold Prey 2 (aka Cold Prey: Resurrection ) last night; the film continues directly on from the first installment... a needless sequel, it doesn't really further the story very much, but like the first film, it's done well - nicely sh...

Ladies and gentlemen, I have good news and bad news... The good news is that if you missed out on getting your hands on a pair of those nice LVK quad posters at the screening then I have three sets to give away! The bad news is that you have to listen to my podcast first and then enter the competiti...

I'm with rawshark on this one... didn't expect to like it, didn't really like the songs, yet there's something about it that kept me watching... and I applaud the filmmakers for attempting to do something a little different from the norm. There's an audience out there - as was clear from the fans wh...

Yeah, a few plotholes maybe, but I really liked Shuttle... pretty tense throughout and I liked its bleak tone and Tony Curran was really good as the driver. Just a shame some of the scenes were too dark to really see what was going on, but otherwise i liked it.

I saw Push this week too... from the trailer I thought it looked like Jumper (oh dear!), but you're right, it takes most of its influences from Heroes ... and I totally agree, the plot is very, very messy! Which is a shame, because that aside - well, I'm not even going to mention how annoying Dakota...
