Re: films we just saw

The Expendables a guilty pleasure from start to finish, low on character high on action it dispenses with the sensibilities of other mercernary action films but delivers testosterone fuelled action by the minute, its great to see dolph lundgren on the big screen, and brit martial arts star gary daniels...

Re: what dvds are we buying?

Was soo tempted to pick up Watchmen at the weekend, but I'm still waiting to see if they do an integrated cut with options to view the animation within the feature (which I heard they were planning at one stage..) So, instead I got Mesrine Parts 1 and 2 on Blu-ray instead - which I haven't seen yet...

Re: Is PIG HUNT any good?

No its rubbish! And very dull, seems to go on for ever with not a great deal happening, and as a previous post mentioned it doesnt know what the hell it wants to be,its neither fun nor horrific just really dull. I sat through it at the allnighter hoping it was going to lead to this big action horror p...

Re: films we just saw

i hardly get anytime to watch movies lately, but with an afternoon free,i caught Predators and Eclipse,1st off Predators and my expectations were low and soon they were lowered beyond the level of any enjoyment, what we get is a rehash of the original Predator with even less characters that we care ab...

Re: FRIGHTFEST 2010 LINEUP!!!

The line up for 2010 has to be one of the strongest of the past few years,so many films under the radar and with little word on them, its also one of the freshest line ups as well. Im trying hard to not seek out any info on them, but so far its going to be hard to miss one film let alone choose betwee...

Re: Where are you sitting?

seats J31 and aisle seat J32 are taken by Notts Poot and me
Having sat at the back during a free screening of zombieland, i had an idea of where i wanted to sit and a reasonable distance from the screen with an aisle seat with my long legs is tickety boo!

Re: films we just saw

The Wolfman,so whats the problem with it? i really quite liked it,its not a bad movie and its shot well, with good fx and lashings of gore, the score by danny elfman reminded me of the score from Coppola's Dracula but on the whole its not a terrible movie. i have yet to watch the extended cut. Surviva...

Re: films we just saw

i caught up with Moon a few weeks back superb sci fi movie, with another great performance from Sam Rockwell. Hellnight this early 80s teen horror with Linda Blair holds up well, with some great scares and chilling scenes, not as gory as most early 80s horrors but worth a watch. the haunted world of el...
