Not looking forward to I Am Legend, I've heard that they changed the story in a certain way - don't want to give too much away, but it completely ruins the entire point of the book (and the title), they may as well have called it something else. Drives me mad. as for people laughing at dumb trailers...

13 Going On 30 - yes, not a horror film, but I had a bad day yesterday, and this is one of my very favourite chick flicks, and it was £3.99 in Sainsbury's. Bargain. Nothing beats watching Jennifer Garner and Andy Serkis dancing to Thriller. NOTHING. I will not hear a word said against this movie, s...

Wow, that was a horrendous show, used to watch it when I was on the dole in Dublin and had two RTE channels - during the day, that was pretty much the only thing on. I had nothing else to do. I hated it, hated the messages crowbarred into every episode. But it was hilarious - the tiny blonde getting...

I was planning on seeing Captivity tonight but my local is temporarily closed after somebody doused themselves in petrol and set light to themselves in the foyer . Sorry about that - I was all ready to watch Captivity, then realised I was making a terrible mistake, so I set fire to myself to get ou...

Watched the Derren Brown live show last night on E4, that whole broken glass routine was really freaky... I'm sure he's a lovely fella but I'm always scared to approach him when he's at FF, afraid of what he can do!! Just get Jimbo to protect you!! Tee Hee! God no, I'm terrified of him too. I won't...

Poseidon is great fun, really nicely done - lots of stunts, gory deaths, drama and tension, and Dreyfuss acts everyone off the screen. Perfect summer stuff, reminds me of when summer movies used to be good. Saw Hard Candy last night - get along to your local and see this immediately, it's really squ...

Unless, of course, that film is Snakes on a Plane. They should do one of those special screenings, like when they showed American Werewolf in the Aldwych disused tube station - get a trashed plane or something, and show SOAP...soulmining wrote:... in-flight movies... hardly the best way to watch a film!

I thought X3 was absolute dogshit. Lots of good bits, taken on their own, but together it was a bag of arse. Pointless even having the Phoenix story in there at all, considering the over-stuffed nature of the whole thing. Needed a serious trimming down before filming started, it just made no sense a...

going back to silent hill.. werent they the stupidest witch burners ever? burning people indoors ? Oh yeah, I hadn't even thought of that - you're right, what an odd thing to do, particularly in the one building in the town that is a safe haven from the darkness, made of old stone and wood - hey, l...

It's not horror or anything, but Inside Man is a rock-solid, great heist movie, with a real 70s New York vibe. Thoroughly enjoyed it, I'd recommend it to anyone who just wants to see a decent, well written, directed and acted movie (which have been thin on the ground lately). Silent Hill this Friday...
