Re: Films for Frightfest August 2015

Nina Forever I'm giving a wide berth to. Looks like it has potential but won't actually be any good. . Why do you say that? It's got nothing but very positive reviews so far: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/nina_forever/ Main dilemma for me was what to see instead of Hellions, was a choice between ...

Re: Picturehouse Central

Don't forget anyone with a Cineworld card can use it this year. Not sure how it works after September though

And yes there's always time in my FF schedule to do other things like shopping or a few hours photography.

Nina Forever I'm giving a wide berth to. Looks like it has potential but won't actually be any good. Opted for Last Girl Standing instead.

Some hard choices this year. Not seeing BAIT as DVD is 7th Sept.

Re: Question about tickets purchased

The disco screens allow smaller films which may not be for everyone a chance to be shown. Quite often Disco films are my favourites of the festival. Agreed. Borderlands Stalled Willow Creek All amazing films, should have been on main screen but i'm getting better at spotting the donkeys when I make...

Re: Discovery screen tickets

I've found this better than getting up at 8am every morning to queue up at the empire or to spend ages in a queue last year to try and get what we want. With a few tweaks this could be an optimum system for disco tickets. Found this year hard to decide what I want and I think it was mentioned on her...

Re: Tube Strike Planned

Might still be worth asking at the station if you can change it due to the circumstances that were beyond your knowledge at the time of making the booking. I work for a train company and sometimes it can be good customer service to allow people to travel at a different time if there is a reasonable ...

Re: Tube Strike Planned

Can you not change train tickets to get in earlier?

We got across London ok without any major problems when there was a strike on. Trying to get to Liverpool Street from Euston and we did it by bus without any major issues it just took a little longer.

Re: Tube Strike Planned

For what it's worth I do not believe TfL will back down over this. They want that night tube and it's coming in regardless.

I get to London around 1pm on Thursday so will drop my stuff off at HHH earlyish then maybe head to Cineworld and watch a film, have tea then go to FF. Nothing will spoil my FF

Re: Weekend passes - film clash query

As odd as this may sound I wish there were less choices this year and some repetition of the disco screen films as in previous years. I love having lots to pick from but much like my sky box, sometimes there can be too much choice. This year has been a bitch to pick what to see and also feel a littl...

Re: Six films you must not miss at Frightfest 2015

I've seen recommendations for James Wan's DEMONIC and also for ANOTHER ME. Hmmmmm.....

Am I the only one not seeing the love for BANJO/ can someone try and sell it to me?
