Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

With the news about the medical conference apparently making hotel accommodation difficult this year I don't know what to do. Still not confident to book hotel accommodation for 4 people before getting the tickets.... It may be untested for FF, but the boys have said it's a system capable of handli...

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

Now that ticketing has been finalised I'm beginning to get really excited. Trains and accommodation have also been booked. I tell you a week in a hotel within a mile of Leicester Square is not cheap. There is a huge international medical conference on in London over the holiday weekend and that's wh...

Re: Something odd from last year..

I think 80 films were shown last year, not all will be liked by everyone.

Re: Is Frightfest becoming 'trendy'?

I had walked out by the 30 minute mark.I was in the Arrow screen so it was our first film of the day and I hopefully warned people of it during my next Disco screening as I told a few randoms it was woeful.I'm unsure whether they listened to the mad Scotsman who was half cut 12pm but at least I trie...

Fair point. I know Bad Milo is not for everyone but at least that was on a Disco screen, where you know you are taking a punt into the unknown.

Re: FrightFest 2015 dates for you diary

You'd have to be super-committed to the idea of 'cool' to spend five straight days watching horror movies if you were only a casual fan! This, I love Frightfest but by the time it ends I'm so glad its over (at least for a week or two). My work gave me the name leather-arse for sitting through five ...

Re: FrightFest 2015 dates for you diary

I like the idea of a preregistration. Getting tickets last year was rather stressful. Could everyone who is interested preregister and be allocated a code or number or whatever, that entitles you to order a festival pass via Eventbrite or similar. Then those who want group bookings could form a club...

Re: FrightFest Glasgow 2015

If eventbrite can be used to pick seats then it is fine by me. As long as it isn't ticketmaster... Your tickets are £170, booking fees are £17. How would you like to receive your ticket, post or post? cos that is an extra £2.75. Would you like to insure your ticket as we cant guarantee you will rec...

Thankfully I was paid early and got 2 passes (me & my pal) but I'm still £140 down for the time being.

Re: FrightFest Glasgow 2015

I hate complaining but the ticket system is screwed. My order failed I don't have my chosen seats (N1 &2 I think) but the money has been taken. Those seats are now shown as booked and I have no more money to try buying more :(

Malky, Did you get your tickets in the end?
