Will more tickets be released from the reserved ICA Member seats?
Don't think they held any/many this time - it's certainly marked as Sold out when I try to book as a member.

The ICA is unreserved - Make sure you take a coat to leave on your seat if you nip off between films, there was a lot of seat shuffling last year!

That's the same for most of us - I can only remember seeing the first 10 mins and the last 5 of Escape from NewYork at last years allnighter! :D

Blu-Ray PiP is still not up to the standard HD-DVD was... I'm almost going to disagree with you on this - the PiP in Watchmen (and to some extent, Crank2) is superb and at least on a par, if not better than any of the HD-DVD implementation's I've seen. That said, these are 2 titles in a veritable o...

I'm currently working my way though the Emmanuel soundtracks. They really don't score 'em like that anymore.

I must admit that I'm finding the discussions about the film extremely interesting. I've posted before that my opinion is not good. However, it seems an awful lot of people are focusing on the "He was joking when he said new genre of horror and people only disliked it because of that". Pa...

Yeah, my Mrs hadn't seen Werewolf so we had to skip Beware the Moon or else it would've been ruined for her. I will catch that on DVD. Werewolf looked amazing, the lip-synch was distracting...especially during Brian Glover's joke telling scene :) Having had chance to preview the digital print of We...

Hardly just An American Werewolf, there's a scene like that in countless other horror films too - getting the audience to feel calm then suddenly throwing a shock in. It was the first time I'd seen An American Werewolf, and the scene in that didn't make me jump, but the one in Heartless did, so it ...

So definitely not the movie for me....although I have to say, the scene where the guys's in the bathroom, and he thinks his girlfriend is outside and opens the door and there's a snarling demon there was probably the most shocking moment of the whole festival. Just a shame the rest of the film wasn...

www.blu-ray.com is a pretty decent guide as to reviews/region locking of discs. One quick warning though - don't touch the BR transfer of The French Connection with a f*cking barge pole - it's practically unwatchable in places. And this is by design! :(

Wonder if that's from the new print they've been touring the US with. Might be worth seeing, even if it's to see if the film's as bad as it seems.. :D

I like the priests death in the original Omen. We like it even more after we discovered that the church is right near our house. We keep meaning to go and take "impaled" pictures. Also have to say the kicking of the tramp to death under the giant pretzel in Clockwork Orange is a fav, pure...
