I kind of found myself wanting them to be friends in the end... the goth girl to be "semi-killed" to become happy part of the family... one big hug, the devil winks, end credits... :?

It gets a lot of things brilliantly right (organ tree above all) but most of them just didn't work for me - I'm kind of sick of the "average teenage girl suddenly becomes John J. Rambo so the baddies get somehow defeated before minute 85". Robert Patrick seemed mostly there for the cash, h...

WOO-HOO!!! I love it when I smash a movie and the creator himself replies immediately - it already happened twice today... So now I just want to say two things: 1) Dear Mr. Evans, I have no intention to watch your movie again EVER! :) 2) I'd KILL to be able to do exactly the same film-making e...

Oh and I dont care if he is on the forum but... 'Do you think this is an important film or just gory?' - There are no stupid questions just stupid people, no wait take that back, that was a bloody stupid question! As far as Q&As generally go I was actually quite impressed that this was the only...

It just bothered me in the way that I'm not supposed to recognize the Masters of the Universe movie theme after all these years...

Didn't get the other one you mention, though it defnitely sounds more respectable

I agree, but they probably just did the best they could with the budget. In the end it was good fun. Let's say 6.5/10

Recapping: 1) Best movie of the weekend by far 2) Definitely missed the crotch shot 3) Something about what the author said put me completely off the book(s). I felt this story was simply perfect as the movie tells it. I certainly do not want to know anything about the vampire background, or other v...

I just think the hype pointed in the wrong direction. I absolutely loved the twists, and I obviously loved the extreme gore - definitely not gratuitous. "Inside" was gratuitous (and awesome), but not this one. When they remove her skin I kind of thought "F**k, does this mean we don't ...

Fantastic mix of Verhoeven, Cronenberg and Yuzna but not a bit as pretentious. I really struggled to stay awake as I'm not used to watch 7 films in a row (yes, that's been my first FrighFest), so the second half felt a bit like an abstract movie to me, but I can't wait to see it again. VERY nerd que...

Really good "things aren't always easy as they seem" thriller in the vein of Zodiac and Memories of Murder. Definitely in my top three.

I never walk out of movies, so I desperately tried to sleep instead... but couldn't :(

Can't believe how this made the selection. I'm all for passionate independent filmakers with no budget, but still prefer to laugh all my way out of something like Mirrors than having to watch this again.

I generally can't stand characters who decide that the smartest thing to do in life is to stalk and piss off a serial killer who looks like Vinnie Jones. And here we have the photographer (ok, he was kind of motivated) and even his girlfriend (definitely less motivated). But here we have Kitamura mo...
