Re: The Innkeepers
Another highlight for me. Loved the hotel it was set in. Well creaky and creepy. Really atmospheric. Those long lingering scenes, just building the tension. Knowing something was going to happen but not sure when. Loved it! Certainly made me jump! Really good characters and you feel for them. Liked ...

Re: A Night In The Woods
Rather enjoyed this one. Great setting in the middle moore in a tent. Familiar premise to Blair Witch. Thought it had great building tension. Really liked the sudden shaking of the tent and the mysterious person who was carrying the camera following the woman. Shame all three characters turned out b...
Re: Deadheads
This one I really enjoyed. Nicely paced and made me a chuckle at times. Zombie story with a differance. Able to reattach chopped off limbs. A bit of zombie and human love story. A sidekick called Cheese!

Re: Cockneys vs Zombies footage
The footage so far looked reeeeally good. Richard Briers trying to shuffle faster with walking frame sold it to me.
Hoping it will show up in Glasgow.

Re: The Glass Man
Another highlight from the festival.
Really enjoyed this film. Andy Nyman was excellent. At times found this film very moving and the sense pride Andy Nyman's character had. The gradual process of him falling apart.
Though it was nicely paced, with a twist. That gets you thinking.

Re: Troll Hunter
This is one of my highlights film Loved the setting and the thought there were different types of Trolls. The Trolls looked amazing. At times did remind me of Blair Witch. Was nicely paced and had building tension. Hearing a oncoming Troll just added to the tension. Had humour as well with a farting...
Re: Inbred
Just had a quick look at the above posts.
I actually enjoyed the film. Had some good deaths and humour. Indeed it was trashy fun! Did like the ferrett munching on the bloody stump.

Re: Panic Button
Liked the setting on plane and interesting story. At times had tension and was ploddy. Each character turned out to have a side to them. Ending with me not rooting for them and wanting them crash.

Re: Fright Night - 3D
This one was a let down for me. Loved the original Fright Night. It is hard not to compare it to the original. Even though they took the story and changed it slightly, Did lack any chemistry betwen the two leads, it was though they were siblings. The character of Jerry Dandridge was devoid any chari...

Re: The Wicker Tree
I had low expectations for this film. Came away rather enjoying this. Had good visuals, such as the 3 sitting Queen of May scene. At times was amusing. Not often you seen a naked male bottom on screen longer than 3 seconds! Horrah!
Not patch on the Wicker Man. Still was watchable.

Re: The Holding
Thought it was a quite plodding film and took a while to get going. Was expecting more. The lead actor I thought was excellent as a menacing psychopath.

Re: Rogue River
Thought it was nicely paced film. Really liked the surrounding forest. Thought it was bit strange when the girl was in the basement did not investigate the other voice she heard.
Re: Saint
Really enjoyed this film. Makes me want to read about the Spain connection and the Europeans way of celebrating St Nicolas Loved the scene of the Santa riding on the roof and then crashing into a room with the two blokes having cocktails.
Want to see this again around Christmas time.

Re: Urban Explorers
I rather liked the setting for this film being underground. Nicely paced, tense film. Even without subtitles. I though it was a bit strange how the man did not translate the conversaton he was having to the girl.
