better than diary, better than land, better than day(perhaps). it was really slick, some really inventive killings and great effects. story was ok, kept me entertained

too glossy for my liking, plot seemed a bit confised

agreed, umbrage was complete shit and clearly wasn't good enough to be on the line-up.

can someone confirm what time the event starts? my e-mail confirmation says 6pm but the first film is listed at 7pm. will there be any talks before the first screening?

@ Heiko - the point is that there are 2 festivals on the same night in LONDON. one will be much better (FF) than the other (GZ). end of.

(although, had i known that GZ might be showing bestial porn then i might have considered going along)

Gorezone line-up looks shit, i wouldn't want to go there just because it's cheaper and this is the Frightfest FFS - they always deliver high quality events :P

survival of the dead, paranormal activity and invite only look appealing to me. don't mind if there's no more than a couple of stinkers on the line-up, sometimes it's good to switch off a little when watching so many films in one sitting

a superb documentary, skillfully shot and edited and what a great story to follow. i watched this before Beware The Moon and this really did make it look amateurish. i always remember seeing Troll 2 in the video rental store but never bothered to watch it because it had such a shit sleeve, how wrong...
