Re: films we just saw
Oopsie forgot about Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief - I actually liked this as well(I'm enjoying everything that i've watched this month(other than SWAT, i shouted at the screen a lot during that pile of pish). Some good casting(loved Rosario Dawson as a slutty Persephone(Uma Thurman was a bi...

Re: films we just saw
Not been in here since the start of the Glasgow Film Festival sooooooooo Ponyo - Loved it, great supporting voice cast. one of the most accesible Ghibli films. Journey of the Childmen - Documentary about Mighty Boosh, well done but it doesn't tell you anything new at all. Most enjoyment was had laug...

Re: GLASGOW FRIGHTFEST FEB 2010
Hi Malky, It's not comparable to anything you will ever have experienced. It is a festival where you can actually get enjoyment out of the worst films. It gives you the chance to get up close and personal with directors and stars of the films. Friendly organisers and a ton of friendly fans, go up an...

Re: films we just saw
Yay Grindy, i totally agree with that Undead reeview. A couple of chuckles but it just didn't work for me. I didn't overly like Daybreakers either, I thought it was a fantastic idea that probably looked good at script stage that they just couldn't get on to the big screen properly. Still they're mov...

Re: GLASGOW FRIGHTFEST FEB 2010
If it helps anyone decide we have our tickets to this already. Really looking forward to Mark Miller.
We've already been to see Ponyo and a Mark Kermode q and a this month at the GFT. An especially impressive year at the Glasgow Film Festival.

Re: Accommodation in Glasgow for FF 2010
Well, I'm gonna be staying ....... in my flat. Just posting to let you know the thistle is the nearest to the GFT and it has a good reputation. The other close by, big name option would be the Travel Lodge Central, just around the corner from the Thistle. There's also a ton of little B+Bs on Renfrew...

Re: GLASGOW FRIGHTFEST FEB 2010
we're unbribable. I've not had any problems getting tickets the past couple of years(i've also been getting tickets for friends as well). If you're gonna be phoning(probably only 1 booking line) it will take a while. Best bet is always to keep an eye on the forum and when other people start getting ...

Re: films we just saw
Watched Daybreakers tonight, It wasn't awful.
It seemed like it probably had a decent script that didn't convert very well to the big screen. Dafoe was a walking cliche for the whole time he was on the screen.

Re: Best 10 Movies 2009
What it doesn't actually mention is that he only saw 12 movies this year and the other 2 were Heartless(he thought it was a bit cliche, a bit like a ITV produced Saturday night show) and Zombie Women of Satan(2012 just edged this out for a place in the top 10, apparently the dwarf shitting scene las...

Along with Frozen i would like [Rec]2, bitchslap and The Loved Ones. Also has anyone noticed any upcoming porno-horrors to fit i...
