Re: Food Feedback

the vue is only 10mins out of soho, tonnes of places to eat. herman ze german was doing a 20% discount for frightfesters so bratwurst and frites with a drink was about £6, good stuff.

Re: FrightFest 2015 DVD/Bluray/Internet releases

i can imagine someone rounding off 86 minutes to just '90' because i find it more likely than a film that is genuinely exactly 90mins long.

Re: FrightFest 2015 DVD/Bluray/Internet releases

i wouldnt put too much stock in the german amazon, they have been listing the green inferno on blu-ray for over a year now and just keep moving the release date. http://www.amazon.de/The-Green-Inferno-Blu-ray/dp/B00FEC4RV2/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1441364378&sr=1-1&keywords=green...

Re: Loud laughing man in arrow screen

we had a loud guy near us in the film4 screen, laughed louder and longer than everyone else, but i found him less annoying than the girl next to me who quietly spoke to herself through films. "oh no, not in there!" "jesus, that made me jump" "oh here we go!"

Re: Halloween All-Dayer/Nighter 2015

German Angst is on at Grimmfest, so unlikely. I dont know if there's an 'exclusivity' clause anywhere in terms of the films being new or exclusive to FF, but I do think that logic says people are less likely to fork out for something with a high proportion of films that they've already seen. I'm wa...

Re: Landmine Goes Click

take out about half of the local guy's "i *want* to help you but..." bit to cut about 20mins and it would have been a fair bit better.

also some slightly better acting wouldnt have gone amiss, but it was an OK film.

Re: My top and bottom 3

best:
deathgasm
turbo kid
we are still here

i also really enjoyed slumlord, shut in, and summer camp so i must be more forgiving than most of you lot.

however the worst three were an easy pick, the only 3 that basically made me angry at the fact i was watching them:
cherry tree
hellions
inner demon

Re: Discovery tickets sold out for pass holders but single tickets still available

it does seem annoying but consider being someone who cannot attend/afford a whole day and finding out Howl/Bite/whatever has entirely sold out based on people who shelled out for full day passes. It would come across that the only way to see a popular frightfest film was to spend £50 (or whatever a ...

Or that it's sponsored by the cinema. That's what it sounded like. Maybe having it on the social media would help, not just assuming we've all guessed where it's held. http://www.frightfest.co.uk/2015films/film4-frightfest-discovery-screen-2-films.html "DISCOVERY AT THE PRINCE CHARLES" - ...

Re: Tube Strike Planned

im coming from surrey each day, it's an easy enough walk from waterloo - but i already sort of figured with the night service due 12th of september the 'best' opportunity for a strike was going to be the bank holiday so i half expected it.
