Ugh thanks for making me sad that this isn't happening!
Im not sure the FF funds would stretch to Jamie Lee Curtis.

Re: Goodbye. Doesn't feel like FrightFest anymore.

I did ask frightfest last year about showing it, but they were not really interested in it . Its been show at a couple of festivals in Am...

Re: 2018 Lineup Announced

Luckily, theres not much clashing for me this year. Not only am I being more careful about what I pick, Im also not filling every time slot, to give me enough time to sleep more and get some better food than cinema natchos (That I dropped last year and had to just eat the cheese on its own. Dont do ...

the signal - the one with the tv signal directed by three different people Oooh I freaking love that film, there's so much mystery in it, especially the very subtle references as to the lore outside of the films. I love films with a background mystery in them, like no one knows the cause of the zom...

Re: FrightFest 2018

Its ok! It was my first time last year, and it was very confusing to start with, especially when people use the lingo that they're used to. Took me ages to figure out that 'the disco' was the discovery screens and not a party. You'll come up with new questions as the days draw near, but everyone her...

Re: 2018 Lineup Announced

Thank the gods for no found footage films (at least as far as I can see). They tend to be sickening or bad. Only liked Banshee Chapter and [REC] out of them. Can anyone tell me what Ghost Mask: Scar is about? I tried looking at it on the FrightFest schedule, but it links to FUBAR instead. Any ideas...

Also: Upgrade is 100% mainstream. Could you tell me why its mainstream? Ive never heard of it and has none to little hype preceeding it. What makes something mainstream? Well, it's a Blumhouse production, the popular Leigh Whannell writes and directs, and it will get a cinema release. Like many of ...

Re: Goodbye. Doesn't feel like FrightFest anymore.

(last year had Chucky and Leatherhead!) You need to hand in your horror card until you can get Leatherface's name right. . Whoops! I always get that wrong. Its 'cos there was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle villain called Leatherhead and I get them confused. think I have them filed in the wrong...

Re: Goodbye. Doesn't feel like FrightFest anymore.

Im dissapointed too. Theres nothing BIG on the list, nothing that really makes me excited to see (last year had Chucky and Leatherhead!) The ones that are on the list seem to be comedies and documentaries, mixed with psycho killers, home invasions and zombies (all of which have been done before). I'...

And if its anything like last year, be prepared for lots of time at the computer, clicking like mad. It's not something you can do in 5 minutes.
