Re: Going it Alone

I have been on my own the past two years and it suited me fine.

I am a very social person so may try and attend the pre drinks or eve drinks this year.
I have found the Frightfest crowd to be hit and miss.

Re: So, where are you sitting?

Woo, I'm skulking about at the back in P31 - I'm prepared to be mocked for my many of cups of tea and health food snacks again! Everything booked (treating myself to Northumberland House agian) so very excited now, see you all in August! xxx I'm only doing a day pass and individual films this year,...

Re: Dream House (The old, funny, toaster killing one.)

Will, you're a star, thanks!

I really just want an uploaded version of it somewhere, even if hazy or ripped to DVD I guess, especially as I'm without VHS player these days. I'm guessing this is unlikely though? ...

Badly want to show one of my actors it also!

Re: Dream House (The old, funny, toaster killing one.)

Thanks, Will, but it's definitely not that one (after reading the description.) The Dad actively builds the super computer in the house and activates it/uses it in the house (just his.) The computer has a female voice. It's a super modenr house the family moves into and uses the computer to do every...

Dream House (The old, funny, toaster killing one.)

Years ago I saw a terrible, but hilarious, film (low budget) that I'm fairly certain was called 'Dream House' (no relation to the more recent ones of the same name.) It was basically about a family living in a house controlled by a computer system created by the father. It spoke, and controlled all ...

Re: Bad Behaviour

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Goes to show that a lot of people were affected by bad behaviour this year (primarily the pushing and aggression.)

Re: Good behaviour

No, not defensive, merely adding the point that evidently not everyone was badly behaved.

I do not believe the other thread references everyone as being badly behaved.

Re: Bad Behaviour

Mobile phones wasn't an issue from where I was thankfuly, but I see that as a general problem not specific to Frightfest (A general cinema issue everywhere.)

A lot of the things I mentioned are Frightfest only, I have not had this at other events.

Bad Behaviour

This was my first full time at Frightfest for the full 5 days, last year I went for a couple of individual days and films. Many Thanks to the organisers for a great film lineup. :!: However.... :!: I must say I was highly unimpressed by a lot of the behaviour I witnessed by a larger amount of people...

Re: Getting to know you...

Hello, I have arrived. Isn't that exciting? I actually work in Comedy, but I am a hardcore horror-ite and have been for many years. I'm also female and not remotely gothy so as a refreshing change I break the stereotype of a female horror fan. It's girly dresses, makeup and jewellery all the way for...
