Thanks very much for the advice. I'll do some digging to see what I can find. Seems strange that his stuff is so hard to come across.

The mist - didn't know what to expect but I actually really liked it. Ending was fucked up. Man, I bloody love the ending of The Mist. How many other big(ish) budget Hollywood films have an ending like that? After talking about Spanish films and Alex de la Iglesia in the sleepy queue with Kev, Andy...

Manhatten Baby - I don't normally mind spaced out films and I don't really want to nominate a Fulci film, but this one really did make no sense whatsoever.

There Will Be Blood - you can see why Daniel Day-Lewis won an oscar for for his. He's incredible in this. The film looks beautiful and the soundtrack is great. Very glad I watched it.

Went to see The Mist in Greenwich yesterday. Hung around in Greenwich for a while before the alleged showing at 18:45. Got there after the website, the information outside the cinema and the leaflet at the ticket desk all said the same time to be told that 'some people have been misreading the showi...

Wanted - been looking forward to this for ages and I wasn't disappointed (even though I'd done the usual thing of seeing too much of the action scenes on the internet). Its been long overdue for an 18 rated action film that doesn't take itself at all seriously and just wants to cram as many over-the...

Indiana Jones 4 (can't be arsed to write the full name out) - nowhere near as bad as some of the initial reviews would have you believe. If you enjoyed the other films then you should be more than happy with this. Cracking start to the film, but the ending was a little so-so. Still, well worth a wat...

This weekend I caught up on a couple of films that I'd recently missed 30 Days Of Night - was definately one of the better vampire films of recent years. After a relatively slow start where I thought none of the action was going to be shown on screen I ended up being pleasantly surprised by the amou...

Decided to go and see Speed Racer at the IMAX. I figured it would be worth a watch on a giant screen - and it was. Lets face it, no one is going to see it for the story but the visuals were great, almost hallucinogenic at times. The only downside was that in some of the races it was a little difficu...

'23' is indeed brilliant. Also great is 'Misery Is A Butterfly'. I'm very fortunate in that I have a friend who works at the record label they're on and so I get their stuff for free every once in a while. :)

Yesterday I got hold of 'Man To Man With Dean Learner' on the cheap. Pissed myself laughing at 'Darkplace' so I'm hoping this'll be equally amusing.
