Thoroughly enjoyed this, it started the festival off on a high note which is where it stayed for most of the 5 days. Achieved a great balance of gore and comedy. Considering this was dripping with Hollywood gloss I really enjoyed it.

It balanced the humour and horror well and kept me entertained throughout. Shia LeBeouf is a likable lead and David Morse was certainly creepy.

The car crash at the start was well executed and felt quite brutal too

This was a great event and proved not only entertaining but also very informative. I'm glad that Hatchet will shortly be coming to DVD so I can revisit both the movie and the commentary again soon.

I'll third the Spiral commentary for next year, a truly impressive film.

This does look like a supremely entertaining movie, its just a shame we have to wait till April for it. While not intended, the black and white trailer did give the film a great look.
