well then its possibly its a policy of the ICA. all other points still valid. Those who missed out should check out the Curzon screening on tuesday the 26th. They refer to a special intro.. and they did manage to blag Bruce Campbell to appear for the MM screening of My Name is Bruce. Maybe they will...

well the counter point is that sure there would be no FF if they didnt hold it in the first place. But there would be no 10th FF if there wasnt an audience willing to keep going, funding it. its a reciprocal arrangement. And FF knows that. Thats why its not at the PCC anymore, the demand was bigger....

I'm not elitist at all... but, when an event is put on and it's obvious that the demand for tickets is gonna far outweigh the supply then I believe the hardcore should come first. But that is elitism regardless whether you mean it that way or not. The ICA and FF obv' went for some damage limitation...

Drag Me To Hell is playing at the Curzon the following thursday. Maybe Raimi will still be around for that?

There was a post on here earlier today that seems to have vanished and it explained the ICA thing.

if i can recall correctly it was down to the availability of venues within the time frame of the possibility of getting the event together.

would be a fair little day even it were literally just a screening of Doghouse introduced by West. Alternatively.. the first shoot of the FFX Calendar is the day after Doghouse's release. Perhaps if the day goes smoothly those who help out at that day could all then go see an evening showing of it. ...

Sadly from today pass holders must pay a £1.50 surcharge for 3D movies. This after the 1.50 a month rise in the pass price and just as cineworld announced a profitable year

Three films which feature Bill Nighy and Micheal Sheen extensively across the board. Underworld: Rise of the Lycans Is pretty much the Vamp/Werewolf romance story we were promised the first Underworld would be. Mix in a little Spartacus and Passion of the WereChrist, a dash of wood (Rhona Mitra) and...

For what its worth i rather enjoyed Eden Log with its survival horror game style structure. My Bloody Valentine 3D is great fun and unlike the highly regarded original it didnt nearly send me to sleep. Soap opera drama aside the pace was good and while some performances were weak (like slashers ever...

often feel like a peasent having to wait for the wider releases  The Spirit is shit. One could reel off academic discourses filling volumes and volumes destined to be part of the canon of critical writings on just how shit this is. The only pieces worth anything are with Samuel L Jackson who se...

One of the lesser Baldwins battles booby traps, mafia and great white sharks while investigating his dads disappearence in Venice. Pretty bad but still fun at spots this fe...

that Demons was just painful, dire and less fun than a perforated prostate. Predicatable as anything and its a sadstate of affairs where the format most script writers favour now means the entire rest of the plot can be determined after just one line of direlogue. Sorry i found Survivours a massive ...
