Re: FrightFest 2014

I would bargain on the new 700 seat IMAX [Screen 1], the residual 300 seat regular screen [the new Screen 2] and screens 7&8 which are regularly used for Discovery Screens; however they could also use the Downstairs screen 3 as per Willow Creek's encore last year. What's anyones guess is if at a...

Re: What films do you want for FrightFest 2014?

Not to plug my own incessant ramblings, but my thoughts on the absurdly spectacular and wholly enjoyable GRAND PIANO can be seen here. I know it'll be almost a year past it's UK premiere at LFF but it would be a delight to host a preview of this should the lineup allow as it would would go down a st...

Re: FrightFest 2014

Let's face it, FrightFest 2014 is going to be phenomenal- as ever- but just in a slightly different way. This is just like the first 2005 move from the PCC. And hearing the new festival programme will be spread out over 4 screens, it preemptively feels like it may have more of an actual festival atm...

Holy hell, so that place is pretty much going to be infested with Fest'ers every lunch & dinner time; talk about taking over the Square!

Now what about 50% off drinks somewhere too... ;)

H31. My regular spot. Close enough to handle the filming without having to shamble out of my seat, far enough back to not get cataracts/picked on my Ross Noble ;)

Re: Films for Frightfest August 2013

So, for my money at least The Dead II & Big Bad Wolves are some great bookend films. And ones they can really spin an event around (much like last year's & not like the year before's). The footage that's out there for THE DEAD II looks really promising, with maybe even a potential for making...

I'd be very surprised since this film had it's premiere at Raindance last year, to not that glowing reviews.
