Re: The Rough Guide to FrightFest

GFT only allow you to drink alcohol bought on the premises as that is what the license allows. I imagine the license in the Empire is the same though I believe there is no alcohol in the auditorium during the screenings? Irn Bru is available in abundance in London now. How you travelling down I'm g...

Re: The Rough Guide to FrightFest

Are seats numbered? A mate and I are going and therefore will want to sit together. Will we have to book our passes at the same time? or do you just claim any seats you can find? Yes, the seats are allocated and you get that seat for the duration. Thanks I will just get him to wire me the cash befo...

Re: The Rough Guide to FrightFest

Hey guys I'm planning to visit FF for the first time this year. I've been to Glasgow FF twice so I kinda know what to expect but I just want to clarify a couple of points. Are seats numbered? A mate and I are going and therefore will want to sit together. Will we have to book our passes at the same ...

Re: films we just saw

I also watched 2001 Maniac which I really enjoyed. It did not take itself at all seriously so it was fun. I had not previously seen this and thought I would check it out prior to the trip to Glasgow. Kinda still sat on the fence with it, some inventive death scenes but overall I can't form an opini...

Re: films we just saw

Solomon Kane - I'm not the biggest fan of Sword & Sorcery movies, but it helps if - like The Beastmaster - they have a bit of horror in there. It's not perfect, but I liked it :) I mistakenly thought this was a kid movie before I watched it. How happily I found it wasn't. Thought it was great. A an...

Re: GLASGOW FRIGHTFEST FEB 2010

Thank you, I shall be attending with my flatmate we both have full passes. I shall keep a look out for future posts. I'm really excited by this. I've still to see the original 2001 maniacs but I'll try to catch that before the event.

Re: films we just saw

Just watched The Wolfman, which was okay I found it to be a bit dull, I felt Hopkins phoned in his performance especially when compared to some of his previous roles. I thought the effects were a bit ropey at places too. The aspect ratio kept changing as well throughout the first 15 minutes of the f...

Re: GLASGOW FRIGHTFEST FEB 2010

Hey guys I shall be attending my first frightfest and I'm just kinda wondering what to expect. I've lived in Glasgow for about 9 years and I am familiar with the GFT but I've never been to an event such as this.
