another great post by Melvin Junko. one salutes his dedication to the cause! Myself on the other hand... Sadly i inflicted upon myself the arduous task of sitting through The Caretaker . A truly challenging piece pacing wise it takes aaaaages to get going and doesnt even offer up the goods when it a...

Sure its done me wrong on several occasions (Slaughterhouse massacre, bloody mary, the caretaker and above all Bone Sickness), but ther...

Psychoville is slowly showing that the true ace in its sleeve is its plotting. Beyond the darkness of the characters there have been a couple of neat narrative ticks, most notably in the Mr Jelly/Jolly mix up. The Lost season 5 finale left a lump in the throat. A double whammy of Sawyers loss and t...

just had a peek at the voucher and it says not valid for sing a longs or "special events". fingers crossed, for those concerned, that the PCC arent considering the director doing a QnA a special event. There is the matinee showing on tuesday afternoon which im sure would allow use of the t...

Nice to see some love towards Doghouse. Enjoyed it a lot and am fairly annoyed at its crappy one week only release. Even tormented got a better release though that did feature a young cast. Its much better than the crappy lazy Lesbian Vampire Killers and i suspect the failure of that film at the BO ...

9 deaths of the ninja In no way does that title make sense. In no way can this film fail to pull globulous laughs from your laughter flange. Utter camp and fromage from the opening seconds. From the tittersome training exercise opening, through the dry ice OD of the ghastly bondesque credits, carri...

... i was appalled that i shelled out for this! I may not even have enough to go up to forbidden planet and the ICA to see sam raimi because of this tosh Surely going to see any film last night ,regardless of if you liked it or not, would have had the same impact financially? Personally i rather en...

considering the utter sphincter bothering worthlessness of some of the titles mentioned im aghast at the inclusion of Lifeforce and Hellraiser especially. The execution may not be satisfactory for some but there is a certain benchmark in movie making that those movies have met regardless of subjecti...
