FrightFest

Just sitting here on Sunday afternoon having some downtime and reflecting on the past few days and posting some reviews on this very site and realised that to some it will probably look like I'm bitter and a little angry. I must admit, this year's selection, so far, has been a massive disappointment...

Very good indeed ( if slightly a tad too long) and so glad I made the effort to check it out. Says something when one of the top films (in my opinion) at FrightFest is a documentary about Italian cop films in the 70's !

Best film so far. Nice to see something brutal at last at a horror festival! Shame all the shite before it made me so tired I nodded off a few times. Looking forward to a second viewing

WTF!!! When did FrightFest start showing kids films??? Strip out the gore the end and my son could watch it (& still find it fu##ing tedious)

At last something half decent. Not as great as expected after all the reviews but nice. Last segment was excellent and by far the scariest (if a seasoned horror fan can still get scared!!!)

Utter and complete shite. At least it gave us a few laughs. If Alan wasn't such a big Giallo fan I doubt it would have made the cut. But looking at the quality of the films before it, I'm not too sure.

Absolute trash and 2 hours of my life wasted !

Not bad but too much shouting and over acting! The guy from Emerdale was class though.

Another winner from Mr. West. Had me gripped from the first frame and the two leads were amazing.
Biggest shock of the weekend though was seeing Kelly McGillis!! Was that really the same women from Top Gun or her mother????

A great surprise and a great movie. Funny as f**k in parts.

Gripping and great performances by all. In my top 5

Wanted to like this as Adam & Joe are such nice guys and do loads for FrightFest but it was just rubbish and not funny. No wonder the Germans liked it so much!

Missed this one unfortunately, does anyone know if the doc will be released on DVD or if it was just a special put together for the fest?
