Re: Films for FrightFest 2016
Looks like Neon Demon is off the cards, I think that as in someone's guesses, since frightfest have just announced a screening of it next week.
Re: Phoenix?
I am 85% sure the announcement of the move said something about the wetherspoons agreeing to open late.
Edit: yes. Ian mentioned being in talks about it on page 3 of the thread announcing the new venue.

Re: FrightFest has a new home for 2016
yes. you scan in and out each day and it will only charge you £6.50 max, then you keep spending £6.50s each day in a 7 day period and it will stop charging you at £32.40.TheDukeAbides wrote:So you're saying that going the card route naturally caps off at the 7-day card rate regardless of how many journeys taken?

Re: FrightFest has a new home for 2016
there's no need to buy a 7 day card - if you use contactless payment it will cost £6.50/day but cap at £32.40 a week. (a contactless debit/credit card works the same and gets the same fares as oyster)

Re: Films for FrightFest 2016
Under the Shadow please! Supposed to be hella scary and the 'next big thing in horror' etc etc. But the premise of a haunting in Tehran sounds intriguing and good reviews from Sundance and on IMDB. I second this. Lots of good reviews, and the type of film that will take forever for a UK release so ...

episode 7 has the lad from deathgasm in it too.

Re: The Sand
it was largely the SYFY level cgi that let it down i thought, with that improved you more or less have Tremors for the current teen crowd.
(and i mean that as a good thing, cos tremors is awesome.)
