Re: Vue West 12 vs Vue West End

Agree with most of the obvious Pro's here. I wonder if being in shepherds bush rather than leicester square impact the movies available. Do movie companies prefer to be associated with Leicster Square as thats where all th emajor premiers are Apart from that i liked the venue, the social as much bet...

Re: Quality of films this year

My two pence on this is that they can only show what is available this year and whaht deals they can strike with studio companies. The Woods was scheduled to be shown but it transpires that the studio wanted the premier stateside instead. Last year instead of Cherry Tree we were supposed to see Coot...

Re: Potential IP address problem booking Discovery Screen tickets this Sat.

hello based on last year discoveery screens seats shouldn;t be allocated seating, however it does appear to be that you have to buy one set of tickets first then another. This was the case last year too. Some discovery tickets may get sold out quick (I missed The Hallow last year) but try go for the...

FrightFest Prayer

I posted this on facebook and Twitter thought i'd post it on here too. So...the first 2 lines popped into my head on the train this morning the rest just fell into place. I did this earlier today. Just a bit of fun, if I spent a few days at it i'm sure it would been loads better. :) Enjoy The Fright...

Re: Stress free ticketing for a change

Agree on the posts above and thanks for concurring. Buying tickets online for any in demand event is tough enough and they can't please everyone. It does help to have done some homework in advance, for example i had a look on the Vue site of the screen layout so i had a 2 or 3 rows in mind i was hap...

Stress free ticketing for a change

Just wanted to say thanks to Ian and the team for the least most stressful ticketing system / experience I've had!. Compared to last year and trying to get tickets for FrightFest Glasgow this was a breeze. Yes demand seemed to be pretty high and that's a testament to the growth of FrightFest but the...

Re: Accommodation

There are a quite a few smaller hotels near by like guest houses. I needed a place with twin beds as there are two of us staying. Nearest good deal i could find with twin beds available was hilton olympia about 15 min walk away. Worked out £48 per person per night. There is a deal on at the moment. ...

Re: Glasgow Accommodation

I ended up booking the Ibis (£153 for 3 nights) yesterday which is a 5 min walk from the venue. I was also told about Mclays guest house which is about 7-8 min walk away but i didnt fancy a walk up a steep hill late at night! Best Western had a good deal on but i think most other good deals are gone...
