Re: What films do you want for FrightFest 2014?

Does anyone know when the opening and closing films will be announced? This is usually before the full line up is announced but I can't see a date on the website anywhere.

Re: We are taking questions about FrightFest 2014

Will Ian, Alan and Paul be based in one main screen or have one each? :D I like the opening night atmosphere of having all the organisers in one screen, but I think the other screens would maybe feel a bit flat without a live introduction.

Re: We are taking questions about FrightFest 2014

Will the cool bar area that we use for the Halloween all-nighter be used for merchandise stands? I think this would be a good opportunity to expand this area - as a girl I'd be interested in seeing a bigger range of t-shirts for sale in ladies sizes, and even things like horror related bags.

Re: FrightFest 2014

I think having two screens of pass holders would be fine, for me the main thing is having a reserved seat to see the main programme for the entire festival. Could there be a live link up for the intros and Q&As between the screens, maybe swapping the screen with the live guests each day? Or woul...

Re: FrightFest 2014

I'm working on a better system for discovery screen tickets. Thinking of some type of online system using smart phones and tablets. It would be along the lines of entering films you want to see in order of preference the day before. Tickets would then be allocated and would be waiting for collectio...

Re: All-Nighter 2013 Information

I tried phoning and the guy I spoke to said they had no information on when the tickets would go on sale. I'm having to try whilst at work, so hoping the tickets will appear before I have to go to a meeting at 10 am :(

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can Imax screens show regular films?

I'm wait every year for the inclusion of 'Power of The Night' from Critters in the music round, but have not yet had the satisfaction of it's inclusion. It's the best power ballad from a horror film :D

Re: Films we would like for the Allnighter.

Human Centipede 3 would be fantastic.

Failing that, can we have a Human Centipede special event when it comes out, all three films back to back?

Re: What's the date for the London All-Nighter, please?

Does anyone know when the allnighter tickets go on sale? After the massive problems with the ticketing last Halloween, when they went on sale 3 days late, I'm hoping it's all a bit more organised this year ...

Chucky's packed and ready to go ....

Re: Discovery Film Recommendations

Does anyone know from previous years if its one discovery ticket per person or one per pass? ie can I give my fella my pass to pick up both our disco tickets some mornings or do we both need to queue up? In previous years we've both queued up, but the passes say the tickets are available for collect...

Re: What does everyone think of the line up then?

Bit disappointed with the 3 o'clock slot on Saturday. Really don't want to see Hammer of the Gods, don't particular like the looks of Cannon Fodder. I thought Contracted sounded interesting but I see that's been changed in favour of that Clophill thing and as I found the Zombie Diaries really dull I...

Re: sleepy queue

I joined the sleepy queue about 7am on Saturday (earliest I could get there on the first train out of Portsmouth) and managed to get the seats we wanted for me and my fella. In my experience there's always been queue jumpers in the 4 years since I've been queuing, but as I couldn't see the front I w...

Re: Films for Frightfest August 2013

What about Open windows the new movie by Nacho Vigalondo the director of Time crimes a previous frightfest favorite. It stars Elijah Wood and sounds pretty good. currently in post production, could be a possibility if it's ready in time. Marcus Nispel the director of The Texas chainsaw and Friday 13...
