A decent enough psychological thriller, but it did seem a little out of place at FF. A shame that the lead actor said he was basically unemployed right now, thought he was very effective.

I loved the soundtrack and the sequences I actually saw. Unfortunately, I kept dropping off to sleep (something to do with not actually having made it to bed following the Phoenix on the previous night!). So, can't give an honest opinion but it seemed OK.

Meh. I remember loving the short story but this just dragged and didn't seem to be going anywhere for a long time. Not the worst Barker adaptation, but a long way from the best.

It was nice to see these on the big screen despite the VHS quality, but I was shocked at how much filler seemed to be in the documentary. A song or video gets mentioned and we get a 2-3 minute clip before the conversation resumes...

Meh, was hoping for more but got a decent if unremarkable movie that seemed to have been made by Jacob's Ladder/Aphex Twin fanboy! There were some effective moments - loved the effects after the eyelid removal - but it didn't engage me. Maybe that has something to do with the giggling fit the girl n...

Loved it, brutal and nasty as it needed to be and didn't beat around the bush. I could have used slightly less testicle trauma (really, did we need to see 2 guys getting their nuts pummelled? Shudder.) but a fantastic movie.

Classic movie, but I got a little bored after I realised I'd just seen all the highlights in Beware The Moon! Looked great though, and it was nice to see it on the big screen.

The Left 4 Dead players were over the mooon with this one  Loved it even though i couldn't really see the subtitles but that's the thing... you didn't need to see 'em! Yeah, that's exactly what I thought - Left4Dead the movie! I did drift off about a third of the way in as I was knackered and ...

Thought this was a bit overhyped (bloodiest FF movie ever? Really?) and there were far to many "oh they're not really dead" moments. But, it's pretty enjoyable even and nice to see a movie from a relatively unfamiliar locale.

Also a little underwhelmed here, though I did enjoy the movie. Comparisons to Time Crimes (which in turn reminded me of the Jim Belushi movie Retroactive from the 90s) are inevitable, and it does suffer in comparison. Some of the choices made are a little strange (why does Jess stand there and watch...

I was a little underwhelmed, but that's par the course - for some reason I thought Eight Legged Freaks was a little average but then ended up loving it on a second viewing. I'll probably grab the DVD in a few weeks. Always nice to see Ray Wise on screen!

I seemed to like this movie a lot more than some people. Some of the character development was ropey, but I enjoyed it. It was nicely brutal toward the end, the "original trailer" was incredibly authentic looking, and the Babyface mask was a great design. Always good to see Sadler in a gen...

As this year's mainstream Hollywood fodder, it wasn't too bad. Nothing incredibly exciting, and it would probably have been more effective if it had been released a year or two ago when it was filmed rather than this year after a glut of creepy kid movies. But, Jodelle Ferland was great as the kid, ...

I rolled my eyes a little at the final scene, but other than that, a great movie. There's a lot of atmosphere built, loved the cameos and there's a few nice shock moments. The thing I loved most was the 80s feel - almost perfect from the titles sequence to the wardrobe.

Not the claustrophobic masterpiece that Neil Marshall's movie was (which scared the hell out of me before the crawlers even turned up), but enjoyable nonetheless. I liked the twists at the end (killing off certain characters, and the hint as to how the crawlers are being fed), and the gore was prett...
