I nearly watched this on Zone Horror the other night, but I'd just suffered 90 minutes worth of 'Sea Ghost' and wasn't prepared to take any more the channel had to offer.

Crank: High Voltage - the most fun I've had in the cinema all year. Saw this one at the weekend. Great fun. I thought crank was one of the most enjoyable films of the past couple years, and I'd been looking forward to this, hoping it would make up for the let down of Transporter 3. Its maybe 15 min...

Hope its not too bad. honestly the killer and gore effect are on top form, besides that chrome mask thing. But the lead actress was really grinding my buttons, shes a ter...

On the small screen. Saw Stuck. Very entertaining. Stephen Rea was excellent. Mena Suvari was thankfully on non doey eyed form. Very much worth a watch. A very apt title to what happens to certain characters I saw this a few weeks back too. I thought it was enjoyable, but felt it might have been be...

The good news is Night Of The Creeps is coming to legit DVD this October.... The Monster Squad and Savage Streets dvds Red Shirt Pictures put out were very both nice, so I'm hoping Night of the Creeps gets the same treatment. Same team is also in the process of doing a Friday 13th Part V special ed...

I read that the same people behind the Monster Squad special edition dvd are working on a Night of the Creeps release. Who knows when it'll see the light of day though.

Oh man, M night shymalama-ding dong! Personally, unbreakable is the only one i can take. I watched the sixth' you'll never guess the twist' sense, and died alittle inside. I haven't been able to stomach the rest. Same with blair 'what the fuck is the point in this' project. I like the 'book of shad...

Caught two films yesterday. ( Plot spoiler for Funny Games) First up Funny Games U.S.. What a tense driven film. Minus any score, apart from the start and the end. The two boys are really unsettling. This film could of been "Hollywooded" but stayed grim. Hoorah! A disturbing film that is ...

I'm not a big gamer - but I got hold of 'Dementium: The Ward' on the Nintendo DS over the weekend. I've not heard much about it (I just saw an advert for it in Rue Morgue magazine), but its neat little Silent Hill wannabe, and is actually pretty spooky and effective for a handheld game - it has made...

Last night I watched Nightmare Man , which had arrived in the post that morning. I was looking forward to this, as I really enjoyed the last Kanefsky/Shepis pairing in The Hazing/Dead Scared or whatever the hell you want to call it (apparantly we don't know what a hazing is in the UK). Anyway, The H...
