Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

For me the frustration was more that after the wait I'd selected my tickets and then lost them (repeatedly, due to the system). They felt like they were mine! I accept that I'll have to wait in line for tickets, but felt really let down that the system failed me once I'd done my required waiting. Y...

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

Finally got my tickets on the third attempt. The second attempt was the most frustrating as I'd actually got brilliant seats in the Horror Channel screen only for the system to crash after I'd entered my credit card details! That was using Internet Explorer. Luckily I had a second Firefox browser ru...

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

So annoyed and angry spent an hour in the q. Then selected my day passes, clicked on proceed to checkout and got and error page. could not click back kept coming up with below server error. Now I am in the que again which states over an hour to wait. There were not many seats left so I don't fancy ...

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

Well that was a waste of time. Got on there, picked my seats, then a little rotating wheel just sat there thinking about it for ten minutes before chucking me off with an 'error' message! So I'm back in the queue now with a 'less than an hour' wait time.

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

that doesn't look healthy. I'm stuck on 3 minutes for the last 10! hope i get in ok with no issues Wouldn't worry too much. The Liverpool website used to do that to me a lot. Sometimes I'd be on there for two hours, but there's nowhere near as many people going for tickets on here so you shouldn't ...

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

I'm looking at that bar and starting to feel quite sleepy. Knowing my luck I'll doze off before it gets to the end and I'll miss my turn! And once I've done this queue it's straight off to Wembley Stadium to queue up outside so I can grab a decent spot for AC/DC later this evening!

Re: FrightFest ticketing 2015

Yeah, that is strange. Just clicked on the link myself to have a look and it's put me in a queue as well. I order tickets for Liverpool games every year and normally if you go on there too early it tells you as much and that you'll have to try again at the proper time. So don't know what's happening...

Re: FrightFest 2015 dates for you diary

Also is the screen allocation just going to be random? I was wondering this too... Hopefully if it's all being done by a ticketing agency you'll have access to a seating plan online and be able to pick seats/screens from that? The same as when booking tickets for concerts? If not it's going to be a...

Re: Frightfest's worst movie ever?

Isle of Dogs closely followed by Dementiamania... I really liked dementamania and didn't get why everyone thought it was so bad! According to the IMDB that was supposed to have had an official UK release yesterday! (1st September). As I remember it, it was ok. Certainly better than Isle of Dogs any...

Re: Thoughts on FrightFest @ Vue so far..

Yeah, we noticed that sickly sweet smell as well. Didn't realise it was there all weekend though. Somebody in the area has probably got a room full of cannabis plants and forgot to shut a window!

Re: Housebound

I really enjoyed this and although the mix of humour, suspense and violence didn't always work, occasionally making it feel a bit muddled about what kind of film it wanted to be, overall I loved it. Initially I thought the haunted house angle was going to turn out to be the mother deliberately tryin...

Re: Open Windows

8/10 here too and my favourite film from Sunday. Loved the hi tech Rear Window first half. Doesn't work quite as well once the Kill List guy turns up due to his ever so slightly bonkers reasons for kidnapping the Jill Goddard character (to boost the numbers on her fan site?!? Yeah, right...). That s...

Oh come on. This is ridiculous. How can I cast my vote when Shockwave Darkside is nowhere to be found on the list?!?

I'll get me coat.

Re: Thoughts on FrightFest @ Vue so far..

The only moan I have over the whole weekend was the Bodyguards/PA People around Robert Englund, Sub-Human Sc*m. Okay, Professional autograph hunters are a nuisance, because they run into the screens and have no interest in the films themselves, but the way Englund's people shoved people around and ...

Re: I survived a zombie hollocaust

Well it was certainly screened at the right time. As an undemanding late night last film it was okay. Very silly broad humour and some decent gore with a "nerd triumphs against the odds" storyline. Pretty much what you'd expect in fact. Wouldn't watch it again. 5 / 10 Agreed. Felt like it...
