Not a movie but I bought Oz season 2 today, having been a massive fan of this during the insomniac hours on Channel 4 a few years ago, I'm delighted they've stuck it on dvd, it's like Prison Break, only more violent, nobody gets out and they aren't as good looking..... so maybe nothing like Prison B...

I had a splurge over the weekend of movies I love and some new ones... amongst the new ones was one on face value I got very very excited about....... Wrestlemaniac. When I read it had Rey Misterio in it I got even more excited, only to be later informed it wasn't the Rey Misterio I thought it was, ...

I'm firmly into Gogol Bordello at the moment, I'm LOVING their stuff! Also..... Wednesday 13 My Chemical Romance (or My Chemical Snowpants as they're also known) I would like to point out before the ridiculing begins that it is purely because I'm going to see them both this year! (And I'm a sucker f...

I saw Hairspray this weekend...... I can genuinely say nearly everyone I know from these boards will despise it on every level, I however (surprise surprise) loved it! Singing, dancing, and Christopher Walken made for a good laugh along afternoon treat for me, the only downside was John Travolta - h...

I've said it before previously and having seen it again I'll say it again, I loved hostel 2! Far more awake this time I really really enjoyed it, possibly not for the deep and meaningful reasons of others but purely for the sheer nastiness and cruelty that comes across in this movie. I didn't enjoy ...

I was always a Jake girl, I LOVED this show, it was always on when I got in from school, right up there with Sweet Valley High in the tacky American teen stakes. On a different note, I've currently been listening to Dashboard Confessional and Damien Rice, it's the northern air chilling me out.... ei...

To shelter from the rain I went to see Hostel part 2 post-ticket pick up. According to the person I went with, my face was a picture from start to finish..... I'm not going to give away the plot as it's unfair on everyone else but emotions ranged within me from hilarity to sadness, revulsion to just...

Zodiac....... personally I found it really boring, an hour in I was squirming due to numbness and just found the pace far too slow on the whole. I will admit that I went in hoping for something a little like seven and it just didn't deliver so mayhbe I had it on the back foot to start with, Jake Gyl...

I saw this on Saturday and keep forgetting to post about it! I loved 28 weeks later too! I thought it was scary, and being a terrible girly girl I almost cried when the family were left behind. I thought it was quite scary, with Robert (can't spell his surname) looking extremely frightening and wond...

Resurrecting this one briefly as I've just bought the new Mark Ronson album, Version, and for someone with a love affair for saxophones and reworkings of songs I didn't really like in the first place its amazing! Even Lily Allen does a decent rendition, and I never thought I'd put Lily Allen and dec...

Saw Hannibal Rising on Saturday..... all I can really say is hmmmmmm. I liked it and loathed it. I've really not made my mind up yet. Rhys Ifans was a great villain, and Hannibal had one of the scariest chins in history (now wouldn't that make an interesting thread? Scariest chin in film  ) But...

Resurrecting this one, just so Soulmining (and anyone else over 25) can poke emo jokes at me - NEW FALL OUT BOY ALBUM IS AWESOME - FACT!!!! Not a fan of From Under the Cork Tree, Infinity on High is fast becoming a staple part of my listening, and the cover has a flying sheep on the front! Add to th...
