I think, though of course I could be massively wrong, this would be the link but it's presumably not activated yet:

Re: London FFers Drinks Get Together?
I'm not in London, but I'm always willing to have a go at this social interaction malarkey. Some years ago several of us had a nice Saturday get-together with a film at the CW Wood Green followed by chat/drinks etc.

Re: ACCOMMODATION 2013!!
I just can't, in my mind, get past the idea of sharing bathrooms in somewhere like HHH though. If I need a pee in the night, I don't want to wait outside the bathroom for some random stranger to finish their business :( The idea of it just makes me a bit shuddery - clearly I've been a non-student f...

Re: Top Five Films
I'm 49, and I got to watching horror movies just as the video nasties campaign was taking effect; we didn't get our first VCR until 1983 and it being a family machine, I didn't get to see many horrors by myself. (I'm also unusual, perhaps unique, in that I never saw any films underage.) The first on...

Re: Andy Nyman's Quiz from Hell
Much of the music round was new (at least three of the films featured weren't released at last year's fest) though some tracks were repeated from earlier quizzes. That said, it again annoyed me when Friday The 13th came up as the answer when that piece of music is from Part III. We managed all the ...

Re: Random Weekend Thoughts...
there were some OK films but no masterpieces. There were very scant films from around the world. Nothing from Asia at all! The worst vice that needs challenging with the audience is now not phones but later arrival. In the discovery screen this was dreadful. i suggest next year some films titled &q...

Re: The Last Days
Really good movie. Possibly the best of the weekend for me. Beautifully shot, good acting, great visuals and I was not concerned by the vagueness of the panic. Going to oppose streetwr though, I don't mind the ending and I understand the ending but: 1. I am british and therefore hot wired to be cyn...

Re: Shouting At People Regarding Phones During Movies
Frankly, if people can't put away their shiny little toys for two hours and watch the film they've specifically gone to see, there's something wrong with them. If the football scores, weather forecast and whether Auntie Mavis has made herself a bacon sandwich is more important than the film, what th...

Re: The Dark Tourist
Hated it. I don't get it, I certainly don't like it and I don't see the point. I found it, and the lead character, annoying and difficult, and I have no idea why That Sex Scene is even there. Frankly I thought it was rubbish and it's my worst of the fest.

1- The Last Days
2- Odd Thomas
3- Haunter
4- The Hypnotist
5- You're Next
And let me add it was damn close between the first two.

Re: The Last Days
Wow. My film of the weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed it. And the ending is beautiful. Alan Jones said it would divide the audience and I'm firmly on the pro- camp on this one. Gorgeous.
