Re: Frightfest Guest List Announced

They didn't tell us it had a UK cinema release before our date in August. To be frank the producers didn't know. A classic case of one hand not knowing what the other hand is doing.

Re: Frightfest Guest List Announced

I'm loving all the speculation, but can I just knock all this on the head. It is what it says on the tin it is the UK restoration premiere of the 1978 Halloween.

Re: FrightFest 2018 - Ticket prices

Okay, now the this forum has kicked off, let's go on populating it with some useful information. I finally sat down today and begun work on the festival budget proper rather than the back of the fag packet calculations that I have been using up to now. As a result I've been able to set the ticket pr...

FrightFest 2018

I thought it was about time that FrightFest 2018 got its own slot on our forum. Greg, Alan, Paul, and our ever patient festival manager Clare, how she puts up with the four of us I will never know, our amazing box office manager Helen and myself look forward to reading your musings good and bad in t...

Re: Buying two tickets

What to do is when you are buying the tickets allocate the first to your email address and the second to your friends. This also solves the Discovery ticket issue and your friend will also get the confirmations.

4,341 films in a lifetime

I got a press release aimed at pushing the Cineworld Unlimited card this morning claiming that your average British person will watch 4341 films in their lifetime. Somebody had seemingly asked 2,000 adults and found a third prefer a good comedy while three in 10 prefer to be kept on the edge of thei...

What prompted me to look into this was I found some pictures from the early days and was surprised that I recognised so many of the faces from attendies of recent years.

From the beginning

We are trying to gauge how long many FrightFesters have been attending the festival. Anecdotal evidence seems to suggest, we see the same faces each year, that quite a few folks have been around since the very beginning and and even more from the early 2000's.
